"You're late, Theodore." Gilbert said to me as soon as I walked in his office. The receptionist, downstairs told me he wanted to see me.
"I mailed you that I would be coming late today, Sir." I said to him, confused and he shook his head, waving his hand dismissively.
"I didn't read it until an hour ago and we had an important meeting, I had to reschedule because you were late." Gilbert said, giving me the evil eye and I let out a sigh.
"I didn't knew we had any meeting today. If I would've known, I wouldn't have arrived late." I said and he grounded his jaw.
"The meeting got scheduled suddenly. Anyways, our client is inside with Kyle, they are going through some of our designs. But as you know, Penny and Cents is known for unique designs, he isn't afraid to experiment." Gilbert ex
