"What should I wear?" Alderic asked me and I rolled my eyes for the hundredth time today.
"Just wear leaves and rugs, okay?" I said, closing my eyes and I heard him chuckling from the other end of the phone.
"Hey, it's my birthday today! Be nicer to me. And I'm genuinely confused. It's the first time I'm meeting your Mom as your boyfriend. Gosh, I don't want to ruin this, Theo. Please help me?" He said and a smile formed on my face as I caressed the gift I had wrapped for him.
"Alderic, she loves you. Probably more than me. So calm down. And wear whatever you wish to wear. And knowing you, you'll probably select a white shirt, a pair of dark pants and matching coat. So, don't overthink it and get dressed fast. I'm on my way to pick you up." I said and I heard him breathing deeply.
