When Alderic insisted on driving his car, I didn't argue. He looked happy. And for some reason, the smile on his face drained all my courage to deny him. So I simply nodded my head with a smile on my face. I sat down in the passenger's seat and let him drive us through the lanes of our city.
At this point of time, I could only stare at him. His face. His eyes. His beautifully carved out face. I saw his lips curling up faintly in timidness as I blatantly kept staring at him. With no hesitation, no fear. Maybe, maybe, I was getting bolder and more courageous than before.
"I won't be able to concentrate on driving if you keep staring at me like this, Theo." Alderic said to me in a warning tone but he could barely keep his giggle inside and I also burst out chuckling, shaking my head.
