After the battery on my phone died, I scrambled for the charger and cursing myself as I banged my toe on the bedroom door, I fell to the ground in a heap. And then the laughter started. Great waves of relief washing over me after speaking to her, fears allayed and determined to see her. I headed downstairs, Arlo prancing around my feet, and whilst I wolfed down a bowl of kids cereal, I dialled the girls from the landline. They were ready to head out on an early morning boat trip with their friends, and they were really excited about the possibility of a new house.
