"She's only with her friends, why don't you approach her?" Lawrence said.
We're here outside of the university sitting on a bench. I badly want to tell them what happened two years ago in her place, but for sure, they will laugh at me, and I don't like it. I just kept it as a secret.
"Lawrence was right Zach, you're Zach after all. You won't get her by just staring at her. A lot of girls are fantasizing about you, so come on, prove it to them," Clyde added.
I don't know if I will follow whatever they told me, but it's not that bad if I'm going to give it a try again, right? I'll just try- again.
"Hey Zach is approaching," her friend immediately said when she saw us walking towards their place. She didn't notice that it's a bit loud, that's why I heard it.
"Wait, Zach!"
We all stopped for a while when Lawrence spoke.
"It's your first time approaching Vielka, right?" Lawrence added while I simply nodded at him and continued walking. I thought we forgot something.
"No Lawrence, it's his first time approaching a girl," I don't know if Clyde just corrected Lawrence, or he was trying to tease me.
"Um... hi," I directly greeted her with a smile. I looked at her two friends and maybe they got what I was trying to say.
They immediately stood up and left Vielka. I saw the astonishment in Vielka's eyes but at least, if it's just the two of us, maybe I could get my courage to talk to her again. I sat down next to her while playing with my fingers. I don't know what to say. What the hell. Here we go again.
As I raised my head, I noticed that my two friends are still standing in front of us.
"Leave," I mouthed, and they left immediately, but I can hear them whispering something. These boys.
"It's been two years since the last time you approached me. I'm sorry, we're too young at that time, so I had to do that," she spoke. I waited for her next words.
"I'm weird Zach, you can't and won't handle me. Just leave," she followed. For the second time, she dumped me.
She started to leave, but this time, I won't let her go. I grabbed her hand, causing her to face me.
"I won't let you leave me this time, Vielka. Just sit down, please," I demanded from her.
"Fine."
A few minutes passed, the surroundings became dark and the sky's about to pour some rain. We both looked at each other and thought that it's time to move to another place.
"I should have brought my umbrella with me," Vielka murmured to herself. I wish I had too. As soon as we stood up, the heavy rain immediately fell.
As we ran, I felt like she was angry because of me. I don't know why, but I am certainly sure.
"I would not have been wet if you just let me leave you earlier," she said. Is that the reason why she's angry?
We had the chance to hide under the building's canopy.
"I am going home, goodbye," she immediately turned around and did not wait for anything that I would say.
This time, I let her go. I thought of playing something on my phone to ease my annoyance. But after a few seconds of thinking, I felt like I want to follow Vielka for no particular reason. I should follow her.
Vielka has not gone far yet, so I followed her. I don't want to let her see me, for I might frighten her out if she found out that I am following her on her way home.
I'm just strolling. I'm just making sure she doesn't disappear from my sight. She's on the other side of the road. Still, I don't know why am I doing this. Am I that obsessed with her? What the hell.
I put my earphones on and followed her carefully.
In the first couple of minutes, I was hiding behind a tree, and it went smoothly, but then, she disappeared from my sight. Where did she go? It forced me to leave the tree to find her. I removed my earphones and looked around.
"Why are you following me, Zach?"
As I turned around, I saw her. She's near the road. I don't know how she got there because she was in front of me earlier.
"How did you get there?" I asked her.
"Obviously, I turned around, duh?" she said, but it shocked me when she put her hands on her mouth. Her eyes widened, and she pointed her fingers to me. It seems like she was being held by somebody from her back.
"Why...is...he…" she said, and she slowly went backward through the middle of the road.
"Vielka please don't move!" I shouted when I saw her so close to the vehicles passing by.
I can see the fear and worry on her face, but I didn't understand why. Why is she like that? What is happening? I stopped moving because my mind is full of questions. I don't understand her reactions.
She stopped, and I slowly approached her.
"Don't go near me!" she said it repeatedly. Everything got worse when she just pulled her hair while walking backward. But as soon as she reached the other side of the road, I ran towards her when I noticed a truck nearly hitting her.
When I went to her, the place where she was standing was suddenly filled with thick smoke, and she disappeared. She has gone.
I was about to leave, but someone suddenly came to me. He's the driver of the truck.
"What happened? I really saw someone I nearly hit, but when I stepped on the break, there was no one, absolutely nothing. You believe me, right? There was someone there, right? Oh God, it makes me crazy," said the driver.
I just stared at him as he was speaking. I didn't know what to say because we're both clueless about what the hell just happened.
He turned around and went back to his truck and drove away. There is something wrong going on to Vielka. I should figure it out. Maybe she needs my help.
I need to find her. I ran towards Vielka's house but...
*SMASH*

The only thing I know is that I am in the hospital. I saw my dad at my side as well as my mom.
"Oh, Thank God you're fine. You've been asleep for three consecutive days, Zach," dad said.
I don't know what's going on or what they are saying. I can't speak because of the tube in my mouth.
When the doctor removed it, I asked them a lot of questions.
"What happened?" I asked.
"You had a car accident. The driver of the car who hit you just sent you here. Be careful next time, Zach. We don't want to lose you. Let's not talk about that. Rest first, so you could be discharged right away," mom said with full of worry.
I nodded at her, and I closed my eyes for a rest.

When I opened my eyes, the truck that was supposed to hit me has gone. The road where I was standing on has gone. I don't know what is happening. I am in my bedroom.
