Newcomer part 2

~Kath~                    I sat on the smooth, wooden floor of Red's room, surrounding by a tea set that she owned, along with a few stuffed animals and Sally. Sally was the only other girl here that was my age. After a few minutes of conversing with the stuffies and Sally, along with sipping my 'tea' -- which was really just water -- I got bored and stood after excusing myself.  I left the room and wandered the hallways for a few minutes, before I finally found her walking aimlessly. As soon as I laid my eyes on her, I grinned and began running towards her. "Red!" I hollered loudly and excitedly. Red turned at the sound of her name, wondering where and who the yelling came from. Because of the scar that ran from her left ear to her collarbone, she couldn't pick up my voice in her left ear. She was deaf in that ear. As she was turning,  I hopped on her back, causing her to stumble forward and land on the floor. She grunted out of pain, turning her head so she could see me. "What do you want, Kath?" she mumbled. I grinned, hopping on her back. "Did you see the new boy?!" I asked excitedly. New people was rather rare and to have two new household members was extremely rare. It wasn't like Slenderman to go around finding random people and force them to live with him. "Have you met him yet?" I asked again, my grin never faltering, "Is he cute?" Red scoffed, pushing me off of her so she could probably stand. She glared at her with her striking blue eyes. "Yes, I met him. He licked me," she said in a dark tone, crossing her arms.  I smiled, finding her immense dislike for him funny. 'I guess she doesn't like him,' I thought to myself. Red picked me up and held me on her right hip, carrying me down the hallway. I held onto her as she walked both of us to her room. As we were walking into her room, Slenderman came out of Jane's room, carrying the new boy with his tendrils. The boy looked bored, but he perked up when he saw Red and I. I smiled brightly and waved at him. He returned the wave and blew me a kiss. I couldn't help but giggle. 'He's nice, I like him.' Red set me down on her bed as she paced back and forth in the room, deep in thought. I was feeling a bit dizzy just from watching her. Looking around, I noticed Sally must have left. Turning my attention back to Red, she looked a bit mad, her eyebrows furrowed in thought and her hands clasped behind her back. Suddenly letting out a deep sigh, Red walked to her drawers and pulled out a black Sharpie, staring at the permanent marker with an evil smile.  She approached her wall and began to write. I was too young to understand and read what she was writing, but it clearly helped her calm down. When she finished writing, she came to the bed and sat next to me, still thinking to herself. "You know what? I don't know what to think of Lizard Boy. I just hope he doesn't lick me again," she sighed, flopping backwards onto the bed with her eyes closed. Leaving her to her thoughts, I hopped off the bed and walked outside, carefully shutting her door. I kind of wanted to find the new boy to say hello.  After a while of looking, I finally found him. He was standing in Slenderman's office, arms crossed with a smirk on his lips. Slenderman was busy lecturing him. I stood next to the door, listening to what they were saying. "I do not condone this type of behavior.  Even my most insane tenants aren't as disrespectful or impulsive as you are. You will be staying here until you prove to me you won't be a threat to anyone. Especially my proxies. You broke one's arm and bit the other," Slenderman spoke, his angered voice booming through the office. The new boy just sighed and shrugged, turning on his heels and walked out of the office. As he did so, he spoke up. "Fine. You'll just have more problems on your hands," he smoothly replied, before walking out. I watched him curiously, following behind him as quietly as I possibly could. He walked into the book room, so I followed behind. I paused for a moment outside of the book room, making sure nobody was following me, and walked in so I could get a better look at him. He was standing in the middle of the room, looking at the shelves of books. His hands were behind his back as he glanced around. I hesitantly approached him, getting a good look at him. He had light brown hair that looked like it'd normally be kept under control, but it was wild, stinking up in many directions. His skin was almost as pale as Jeff's and his eyes were a honey brown. He wore a dirty white wool turtleneck and black dress pants with dress shoes. He was very slim, but I could tell he had some muscle mass. As I was observing him, his tongue, lizard-like tongue stuck out, flicking the air. He turned his attention to me and smiled. "Why, hello there, little girl," he greeted. I gave an unsure smile and walked around him, observing him further. I blinked, spotting something in his back pocket. It was shiny.  I wanted it. "Are you looking for something--?" The boy was cut off when the door opened, revealing a rather angry Red. "Oh, hello, darling," the boy greeted, his warm and kind smile turning into a smirk. I wasn't sure of the emotion. Red scoffed, gesturing at me. "Kath. Here, now," she commanded, her tone full of disappointment and anger. "Okay, coming!" I chirped brightly, swiftly grabbing the shiny thing from his pocket and I ran to Red, grabbing a hold of her outstretched hand. The boy raised an eyebrow at my obedience. "She's not a dog, you know. It's not polite to treat her as such," he stated. He had an accent. I couldn't pinpoint it exactly, but it sounded like he spoke French fluently. Maybe he did. I'll have to ask him when Red isn't guarding me from him. "No, she isn't," Red agreed, her grip on my hand tightening a little bit, "I only treat her this way to protect her from men like you. And it's not polite to budge into things that don't involve you, Lizard Boy." "Lizard Boy?" the boy raised his eyebrow and his smirk faltered. As he then slowly took a step towards Red, causing her to almost fell back, but she jumped back even farther way than the first time. He came up to her, close enough that it looked like he was going to lick her again. Fortunately, she did something that shocked them both. She licked him! On his cheek. "Red?" I said to her, voice full of surprise and confusion. She didn't say anything to me, keeping her attention on the new boy. They were pretty close. "Don't ever lick me and I won't lick you," she said in a dark tone, poking her finger on his chest to emphasize each word.  He stared back at her with a raised eyebrow before he rubbed his cheek. "You should not have licked me, babe," he replied back, though his tone was not as dark as Red's.  'I guess they really are not getting along at all,' I thought to my self. My other personality's voice tried to say more, but I pushed them away for now. Red grabbed my hand that still had the pocket knife in it, pulling me out of the book room and into the living room. She sat down on the couch, but I didn't follow her. I was too occupied with the shiny thing I had gotten from the new boy. It was a pocket knife.  Red turned on the TV to the news channel, humming when she saw a photo of herself. I stood in the middle of the room, my back to her so she couldn't see what I was trying to open. "Kath?" Red called out to me in a soft questioning voice. I turned to her, hiding the knife behind my back as I smiled, curious as to what she wanted. One of my personalities, Thomas, took over for a moment, staring down at the knife. "How does one open this b***h?" he muttered out loud. Just as he said that, the knife clicked open, almost cutting my face open. I blinked in surprise, my eyes wide.  Red turned to me, her expression shocked. The boy I had stolen the knife from had walked in just as the knife clicked open, witnessing me nearing killing myself. "Give it to me," both of them said at the same time. Their hands were out expectantly, looking displeased with me. Red turned her gaze to glare at the boy before looking back at me. "Do not give it to him. Give it to me," she commanded. The boy easily replaced her, looking at me with a shallow stare. "You are going to pay dearly if you do not hand it over right now," he threatened. I narrowed my eyes and held the knife tightly and closely to me. "No, f**k off. It's mine now," I said coldly. Red looked over to Geno and scoffed. "You tell me not to treat her like a dog. Look who's talking," she sneered in disgust at his hypocriticism. He glared back. "Now is not the time for you and I to be talking about how to treat the child," he snapped. I flinched at how fearlessly he had snapped at her. One thing I've learned is to not anger Red. Last time someone had angered her was when Jeff let his pet, Smile Dog, into Red's room. She was covered in blood and had to clean up his mess before Jeff was banished from the house for days. As I was thinking of the time I last saw Red mad, she left the room, scowling to herself. Her footsteps stomped up the stairs before I finally heard her door slam shut. Geno was still standing in the same spot, his eyebrow raised expectantly.  He still wanted me to give him back his knife. I quickly ran past him, trying to run upstairs to Red's room. Unfortunately, the boy tried to block my way. I quickly kicked my foot up, hitting him where the sun doesn't shine and quickly ran past. I ran like my life depended on it, banging on Red's room and begging to be let in since I knew the boy would be coming up the stairs to get me "Where are you, you little s**t?" he called out for me.  "no where you need to find me Geno"  I yelled back him
