Dinner

Trilla POV      I sneak glances at Terrowin as we walk in silence down the hall, he walked stiffly and with purpose. His hands were unmovable at his sides, not swaying as mine did with each step. I study his war torn hands imagining the feel of his callouses brushing against me.Perhaps it was foolish hopes in my mind that I  would experience such a pleasure.  It was sad to think I would never know the feel of his calloused hands running under my breasts or his wicked teeth tugging on my n****e. It just couldn't happen, Fae males were too unpredictable and the cost didn't out way the benefits. I hold in a groan and try to rub my thighs together to ease the ache growing in my core.      I looked over and saw him focusing on my face. Did he notice the way I was acting or was he just curious. I met his intent gaze and didn't let my eyes fall I knew from past experiences that looking Markus in the eyes was a direct challenge to his dominance and by his standing had to be punished.I could feel my mood dampen significantly as I remembered that particular punishment.      It had been in one of the first few weeks of our mating, just when he was showing his true colors. The previous night had been the first night he had hit me. I had run out of the house and hadn't returned till early morning to talk it out. I had gone into the house ready to forgive him to looked into his eyes as we had been talking and smiled at him as we talked it through. I never though such a small action would cause the response it had. It was the first night he really hurt me, he had lashed me 50 times with a whip and as I later found out it was a light punishment by his standards. I cringed thinking back on it now, how easily I had been controlled.     I recoiled from the memory, and in hopes to avoid a punishment I dropped my gaze. Stepping back from him further than I already had been. His eyebrows furrowed in deep confusion at my change in demeanor. He seemed to accept my change in moods and kept walking as if nothing had happened. Was he so used to my behavior or does he not care about the problems of a small human girl. It doesn't matter, what did was going as unnoticed as possible until training was over. My little fantasy in my mind earlier flashed through my head but I tried to douse that before it could spread in my mind.      Finally we approached and open room with a few benched tables in the room. I saw my sibling standing in a line to get food I ran over to my siblings at the back of the line and launched myself at Aldwin holding onto his back like a monkey before digging my fist into his his scalp. He yelped in surprise  "Unhand me you Brute!" He yelled trying to pull me off of his back. I climbed up and did a flip of his shoulders knocking him to the ground. He groaned in pain and I let out a real laugh at his expression at the sound he looked at me in surprise before smiling widely up at me. It had been the first time I had laughed in a while and he was happy to know that I was still able to .     I skirted around him grabbing the tray meant for him and running off before he could stop me. "Hey! no cutting in line cheater!"  He called out after me. I flipped him the bird over my shoulder and I heard the twins chuckle in response. They separated from each other and looped an arm through each of mine. Maddox held a plate piled with two portions of food for him and Malora in one hand and the other firmly locked with mine. Malora Used her free hand to pat my head and occasionally stroking my hair as we walked. They guided me gently to a barren table where Daeda sat, spooning mouthfuls of peas into her open mouth.      She smiled when she saw us approach moving so I could sit next to her and across from the twins. Aldwin joined us looking more cheerful than earlier as he plopped down beside me. We chattered pleasantly before one of the Fae males, Forrester, slid his arm over Aldwin's shoulder stealing his bread before he could notice. He perched himself  in the seat next to my brother and began talking animatedly with my family. He was different than the other males and definitely different from Markus. Markus had never been this excited or emotionally invested before. Maybe my mate was emotionally defective or maybe I was worthless enough to drive the man insane. I stopped that thought banging my fist on my head in frustration. Thoughts like that were dangerous.      I stopped the motion peaking up nervously at my table mates. They glanced worriedly at me I sighed sleepily before standing. I needed to rest before absolute insanity kicked in. I went around the table kissing each of my siblings n the cheek. When I leaned down to give my goodnight to Aldwin he grabbed my arm tugging me down "You all right, Tat?" He asks using an old nickname for me. I smiled down at him giving a small nod. " Don't I get a kiss goodnight?" asked Forrester. I dramatically gagged at the thought and my siblings erupted in laughter and the male playfully pouted at me. I shook my head in an exaggerated no before walking out of the dinning hall.     It took me a while of wondering the halls to finally find my room. I moved inside and started up the fire getting the room warm as it often was a cold night in Delhavan. I got the fire stoked and drew myself a quick bath cleansing myself. When I came back I blanched at the idea of getting back into my dirty clothes. But on the bed was pajamas and a not in fine lettering.                Dear Trilla, I hope the clothes fit well. If not let me know. Other clothes will also be in the chest. Get some sleep training starts early.                                                                                                                     ~Terro. I smiled at the note before getting dressed and climbing into bed.
