Dinner was quiet, an underlying tension trembled within the silence though. I saw how Dean and Mum would keep glancing at each other with a look like they were having a silent conversation with one another. Trent kept his eyes on his food mostly. Toby kept glancing at Trent with his brows furrowed. So it didn't come as a surprise when after we had finished eating, mum asked me if they could have a private word with the boys and if I could go to my room for a while. I nodded and then stood and quietly took my plate to the sink and placed it in, turning round. Trent and Toby were both looking at me. I gave them a tight smile and hurried off out of the kitchen. But curiosity got the better of me. I wasn't usually one to break the rules and spy. But I wanted to know what they were planning
