Pulling up near the barn, I took a deep breath. I need to calm my sh*t. I would never condone hitting a woman, but right now I want to tear Hailey's head off. I needed to do this without implying Addison was more to me. The last thing we need right now is Hailey shooting her mouth round town, something she shouldn't be. I had to play the brother card here and that infuriated me more. It would seem odd, me all of a sudden sticking up for her when I have never before.
Getting out of my truck, I round it and headed into the barn. Hailey wasn't here yet. Looking round, I see the next generation was keeping up with its maintenance.
