Albiri did not say a word more, he ran towards her, lifted up her chin and placed his lips on her.
Aldira was shocked but when their lips touched, she felt warmth and softness. Uninvited water streamed down her eyes while kissing him.
The kiss was full of desperation and innocence. It was away from malice and felt so right as if their souls have interwined for eternity. Both of them understood one thing there is no going back.
With time flying by their breaths narrowed and only then did Albiri notice the several scars on her body.
"Who did this to you, Ice?" Albiri screamed his eyes turning darker and veins popping out of his head
"Did you just nickname me as Ice?" Aldira said
"That is not the main point here Ice" Albiri said rolling his eyes subtly
Aldira in a split hugged him and the unbelievable happened Albiri felt chains bound to him, chains of peace and he calmed down.
"Ice--''
"Shhhhhh, calm down Donut"
"Really? You nicknamed me a donut?"
"Mmmmm.... You talk a lot, let me be near you" Aldira said
"Ice we need to go to your place, I will meet you tommorrow" Albiri said and unknowingly opened a scar
"I.... I-- don't have a home"
"What do you mean babygirl?"
"I ran away from home" Aldira said and swallowed a lump in her throat
"Wha-- what but why Icy?"
Aldira could not speak anymore she just cried and cried and that's when that pain came back to Albiri he now knew the cause was his Mate's sorrow.
He lifted her up and carried her like a doll to his palace.

Aldira out of exhaustion fell asleep in Albiri's muscular arms.
"Wakeup Ice, we are home" Albiri softly whispered near her eyes
Aldira slowly open her delicate eyes and saw hundred's of people standng to welcome them.
The love, the acceptance melted her and she suddenly felt something she never did she felt her Heart Beat.
