SHOPPING

Kelly smiled at Jane as she was testing out some glasses. Jane was appraising her and giving her opinion on what she thought about them and how they looked on her. "How about this one?" Kelly asked, her smile still on her face. She was obviously enjoying her time. "It's cool," Jane said, "but it looks a little boyish." Kelly discarded the glasses and took a new pair. "It's better, but it's still not up to par." Kelly grumbled and sighed. She reached for another and tried it, and Jane gave it a thumbs-up after taking an appraisal of it. Kelly and Jane were classmates with Ian and Angie. They were the naughty and troublesome types, always looking for ways to get into some little mischief, one way or the other. They were out and about, shopping and having a nice time, showcasing both all the items in the shops they went to and the ones they bought, taking photos and sharing them on social media, and seeking opinions from their online friends. Ian walked into the store not long after. He made his way slowly but steadily to the category he'd arrived for. Kelly and Jane were completely unnoticed by him, as he didn't even take a gander at them. "Oh... my... God!" Kelly uttered a whispered exclamation. It had been a long time since she had seen him. Her attention was locked on him. Jane noticed that she had seen something unusual. Her attention was locked on her as she approached her friend. She drew her attention by snapping her fingers in front of her. "What are you looking at?" She inquired. "You look like you have seen a ghost." Kelly immediately snapped out of it and exclaimed once more. "Oh... my... God!" and then said, cracking a grin. "That's Ian." "Ian?" Jane looked surprised as she inquired. "That's not possible." She looked around and saw him. She couldn't take her gaze away from him. They both stared until Angie entered the shop, and they both quickly snapped out of it. They are always disgusted when they see her with Ian. Angie had never placed any value on what they did. It was never a problem for her. As she walked in, she smiled. She went to join Ian in his shopping. Kelly sighed. "That seductive b***h!" she remarked. "What?" Jane stated. "Nothing. I'm just ecstatic about everything. It made my day to see Ian after such a long time. "I'm looking forward to sharing his photos on f*******: and Instagram." "And let everyone know we were the first to see him?" "Yeah!" Kelly exclaimed joyfully. They then started taking shots of him from afar with their phone’s camera. "Wait, why don’t we go and say hi?" Jane said. "No, not now," Kelly said. *** Lisa stepped out of her car as the door opened. Jackson waylaid her when she was on her way to the hair salon. He said, "Hello, Lisa." Lisa locked her gaze on his. "What do you want?" He drew nearer to her. "Angie hasn't been returning my phone calls." "And how does that affect me?" She said" "Well, you know how it is: Angie is my girlfriend, and you're her friend, so that makes us friends, right?"" You know what? Stop right there, just stop, "Lisa said, her face contorted with contempt. "Please allow me to save you the trouble. That... or whatever you just said... doesn't work for me. We don't get along. Please, I have somewhere to go and I don't want you in the way. " As she passed Jackson, he called her. He walked ahead of her after she came to a halt. "How come you despise me so much?" "I'm not sure," Lisa said with a shake of her head. "What!" Lisa answered. "I don't know, now get out of my way." Jackson stood there, perplexed for a few moments, and then, with a shake of his head, he continued on his way.
