It was hours later when Rob dropped wearily onto a crate and wiped his forehead with the back of a hand. He look to Naia, who winced in reply. “That’s all of it,” she answered. “That’s everything on the manifest for this cargo hold.” He checked around them, at the number of containers he’d marked with white chalk Xs to show they’d been counted. For each set of items on the list, they’d opened at least one box, crate, or bag to make sure it contained what was printed on the manifest. If it did, they had to assume all the others in the count held the same content.
