Naia fought the pain in her thigh as she turned to go after Rob. She had to get him back to the surface before he drowned. She had no idea how injured he was, or if he was still alive after being shot and beaten, but she had to try to save him.
Blood gushed from her wound. It wouldn’t take long for any sharks in the area to get a whiff of it and come running to finish her off. To finish the both of them, she quickly amended, remembering Rob’s gore-smeared body.
