Monday
"I don't want to go back to school," I groan as Matt tries to pull my blanket off.
"But if you want to get into Harvard, you need perfect attendance and great grades," he argues.
"Since when do you care about school?"
"Since I realized I want to be a business owner. I have a year to improve my grades and volunteer."
I regret Monica telling Matt about Harvard; now he’s acting like a geek.
"You have summer to volunteer."
"Nope, I want to start now, so I’m volunteering at the vet after practice."
"What about the party on Saturday?"
"Screw the party; final exams are coming soon." He leaves my room.
"Monica has broken up our brother; he's ditching a party! The party king!" Mason comments when I go to his room.
"And it will only get worse when we're seniors
