CHAPTER THIRTEEN Greg walked back to the office. On the way, he had a thought. Though he was not fond of his colleague, Roger had offered to help and he had had a number of cases with Gulden in the past. Maybe he had some clue to the man that would help put together what happened. It was worth a conversation. He called Brian, who filled him in on his talk with Springer the night before. “Sounds like a trip to Virginia is coming up. You want to come?” Brian asked. “Of course. I’m meeting with Mason shortly and will run it by him. The drive will give us time to brainstorm. And, Springer’s suggestion is definitely worth exploring.” “BTW, did you see any security cams at the Black Bear?” “No, I don’t think they have any.” “I’ll swing by this afternoon to double-check.
