CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX
Cole Springer sat nursing his coffee and awaiting Detective Murphy in the hotel dining room. On their arrival, he had received the message from Brian that he wanted to meet. Cole had some trouble getting his wife to stay upstairs. She was understandably eager to hear everything, but he was a retired police officer and realized it best for the two men to meet alone first.
