CHAPTER TEN Brian got back to his office tired after a full day. He had left a message for Springer, and knew he had to interview him tonight. He pulled the file on the Johnson case and reviewed it carefully. No mention of another potential suspect. No Perry Higgins. The only mystery was what made Gulden so sure he would win the case.
