At around 9 pm I was doing my homework and was lost in my own world, a piece of beautiful music reached my ears. I heard someone playing my favourite romantic song on the guitar. I came out of my trance of homework and hurriedly treads towards my room's window. I peep out of the window, it was quite dark and I couldn't see anyone. I tried to discover the guitarist, but because of the darkness I couldn't figure out the person, the sound was coming from the Lakeside, and the music has a magnetic effect, and I felt like drawing towards the music. I subconsciously started singing with the music, it is my all-time favourite track from Titanic. "Every night in my dreams...I see you...I feel you..." the guitarist was playing it with perfection. I want to see the hidden musician, I have in my neighbours. The music fades away and then stops as the person who was playing it walked away. I guess. Apparently, listening to my favourite melodious music refreshes my mind. I happily continued my work back with more enthusiasm, Winds blew and a few papers from my study table flew away. "Oh! No..." I forget to close the window. Although the weather here in California is very pleasant, unfortunately, my immunity is not that good, and I catch a cold very easily which is why I avoid cold breezes invading me. I jumped off my chair and immediately closed the window while closing the window I saw a shadow near the lake." Is he that guitarist?" a huge question mark appeared over my head, I freeze in between the windowpane trying to figure it out. A strong wave of cold breeze slapped my face and I furiously closed the window. "Demi...Concentrate on your work." muttering that I started collecting the scattered papers from the floor. I frowned looking at the student exchange paper. I thought of glancing at it just to speculate what type of questions it has. for my extreme shock, the first question was, “How well you treated your teammate at the start?” A mischievous grin crept over my lips thinking of how I growled at Mr. Exchange student at our meeting last night and today when Ms. Chloe introduced us I blew my bubble gum at him. Did I need to be that honest? I laughed thinking what if I write my honest answer??? I continued grinning lying on my bed and slowly falling into a slumber thinking of my weird experiences with that new boy so far and soon slipped into my world of dreams. THE NEXT MORNING I woke up with the shrill sound of my phone. “Who the hell is calling?“ I groaned sleepily on my pillow. I half sleepily fumble blindly on my bedside table grabbing my phone. "Hello..." I answered rubbing my eyes. "Hey. Good morning DEMI." Nick excited voice enters my ears. "You irritating ass?" I groggily groaned. "Don’t you remember? you promised me to teach advanced swimming lessons," he said. I sleepily sit on my bed and look at my watch, "seriously...Nick, it's 6 in the morning, nobody goes swimming that early." I tried to convince him to change the plan. "Exactly...that's safe for me. "Nick sneered. "Oh, Nick, that’s not fair." I groaned back stomping my hand on the bed. "You are a girl of your words and as you always said Promise is a promise. So, Demi, My lovely friend come fast, I am waiting...muaah...muaahh..." Nick dramatically convinced me throwing kisses over the phone. "You moron, ok, give me 15 minutes." I chuckled. I put my phone on the charger and move to my bathroom, *Nick's point of view* I am Nick Dawson, the most desirable hunk around. I enjoy being in limelight. I can charm girls, boys or maybe both with my handsome chocolaty face. Am I gay, bisexual or straight...? that's the most hilarious question that stuck in my head since eternity. You understood or perhaps not. Certainly, My s****l status is complicated to me as well. I am still exploring myself wandering everywhere. I love to party, drink and insanely love to spend my stepfather's money. I met Demi through Neha When I was actually messing up with Neha. Neha and I played the characters of Juliet and Romeo last year in our college play. We both did wonderfully but unfortunately, Neha got much limelight than me and I frowned over her for being overdramatic. We were arguing over our own matter and Demi came in between from nowhere and punched my face. I clearly remember how strong that punch was. She punched me because I was fighting with her best friend and very that day I found two girls friends, I mean girls as friends. Demi is actually a tomboy with whom you can discuss whatever you want. Though Demi and I share a tom and jerry kind of relation but, believe me, guys, We are very concerned for each other as well. Neha and Demi always stood by me and took care of me whenever I was over drunken or feeling low and saved me whenever I got stuck in the weirdest situation. My BFFs are the best in the world. *Demi's point of view* I took a very quick shower and pack my swimming suit and college bag as Nick is waiting for me at the college swimming pool. I hurriedly ran down the stairs. Stephie my housekeeper was cleaning the house and shocked to see me getting out so early. "Is everything fine Ms?" She curiously asked. "Extra classes." I just spit. "Where are my car keys?" I frowned asked looking at the empty key holder. "Miss, Ben has taken all the cars to the nearby carwash station and he will be back by 8." she politely answered. "OHH No." I scoffed and took my bike keys and ran out frustratedly running my hands in my hair. I took my Ninja bike and drove out my way. I speed up the bike driving recklessly on the empty road cursing Nick in my head for calling me so early in such cold weather. He called me so early as he is such a reputation freak that he doesn't want others to know his deepest darkest fear for water. Yes, our college's cool dude is actually afraid of water. The cold winds wiped my face, thanks to my helmet for saving me from the cold waves and Thanks to my dressing sense that I chose a sweatshirt and sweat pants to be on a safer side. "Holy shit..." I wailed pulling the breaks harder...a loud scrreeechhh sound echoed breaking the silence around, I pushed the breaks as a jogger came my way from nowhere. "Go die somewhere else," I growled as we almost gonna bump into each other. The man in the black hood didn't turn. "Hey, you deaf maniac, I am talking to you," I screamed putting my bike on the side stand. The boy slowly put off his hood from his head and turns to me running his hands in his hair. "YOU..." I screamed. "Goodmorning...DEMI, "Rohan greeted me with that awful grin. "WTF..." I muttered rolling my eyes around. "Listen, Mr. Exchange Student, if you love jogging then first kindly go through the city rules." I informally advised him. "Why don't you do me a favour, Ms. Rule book?" he said looking deep into my eyes over the helmet glass. I gawked at him with my brows furrowed..."What did you call me?" "Don't change the topic, do me a favour, Just gift me all the rules books about you and your city, so that we won't meet like this ever again." he ridiculed. I jerked with the buzz in my smartwatch. "Yeah, I am on my way," I answered the call on watch walking back to my bike. I gave a stern glance at Rohan standing with his arm close to his chest, continuously staring at me with that awful grin on his face. I push the accelerator and drove fast to the college.
