The air felt heavy. Zahra could not find words. A name sat in her chest. Ngozi. Amara reached for her hand. `Take a breath,` she whispered. Zahra let it out slow. Her eyes filled, but it was not hard. Boma gave a small smile. `I know it hurts.` `But you have something now.` A friend put the name on paper. `We start here.` Zahra lifted her head. `Yes. We start today.` She rose to her feet. `Tomorrow, we go.` She looked past the door. A path waited outside. A path to what was lost. A path to her mother.
