Athena's POV:  Could a self-absorbed, arrogant jerk like Damon ever offer a genuine apology?  Not in a million years. Still, watching him fall silent under his mother's sharp gaze was amusing. For someone as defiant and headstrong as Damon, I half-expected him to ignore even her. But there he was, swallowing his pride. "I'm... sorry, Athena," Damon finally muttered, and I couldn't help but notice the strain in his voice as if each word was physically painful for him to say.  Before I could savor the rare apology, he quickly shifted the attention. "But, Mom, shouldn't you ask how Athena ended up in my room?" His tone was sharper now, catching me off guard. I blinked, surprised by his sudden shift, as his mother and younger brother, Zion, both turned their questioning eyes toward me. D
