Chapter 17.. Third Persons Pov. Reah looked at the pendant in her hand, she smiled. For years she has wanted it and today the universe delivered it to her. The head guard shivered whenever she stood closed to Reah, she was younger but had so much power. “What are we going to do to the prisoner?.” The head guard stammered. Reah lifted her darkened and narrowed eyes. Did she really not know what to do, rolling her eyes she got up and walked closer to the head guard. “Where is the scroll?.” The head guard handed it over to her. Reah flipped through the pages, that beam of light must mean something. Her eyes widened as soon as she saw something exactly like it. ** The prophecy.. The scattered city of Eryndor, broken will be restored by someone reborn to destroy the ring he once created. ** Reah tore the scroll in pieces, and exhaled heavily, her eyes terrifying to look at. The head guard tried to sneak away. “Stop, don't you dare take another step forward.” Reah yelled. “This matter concerns all of us, why are you running away.” The head guard swallowed hard, she was not running away because she was not concerned about the people, but because Reah looked terrible when furious. Once she calmed down, they could reason together. “I am not running away your highness, I am simply opening the door. It feels too hot in here.” She lied. Reah yelled at her asking her to leave. The head guard went to the prison to look after the prince. Prince Anderson ignored her presence, he felt like a failure. He came all the way here to rescue and find Jeff, also the missing people in the palace; but here he was stuck in a cell. How excellent. “I will get you out of here.” The head guard assured him. The prince looked up, and blinked rapidly his eyes filled with so many questions. “My father lives in Eryndor, do you promise to let him know that I am alive my name is Danny.” Prince Anderson smiled at the chubby half naked lady before him. Surprisingly he wasn't moved a bit by her beauty. Prince Anderson nodded before responding. “ I need that pendant, it was a gift from my late mother. I will not be leaving without it, id rather rot in here.” The head guard, brought the pendant out of her pocket, she had stolen it when Reah was laughing crazily. Prince Anderson smiled wildly. “You just earned yourself a friend. Now how do I get out of here, and I will be taking you with me.” The head shrieked in excitement. As the head guard stood admiring Prince Andersons features, she heard a noise coming from outside suggesting a commotion. A woman ran in breathing heavily. “We are under attack, three..” The woman fell to the ground as she felt something heavily hit her on the head. Anderson got up holding the rails of the cell. He saw a man in mask showing off his sword skills, his pathetic moves made Anderson smile, he knew who it was. The head guard lifted her hands chanting a spell, lifting him up above the ground. Unmasking him. “I'm not the one you should worry about.” The head guard raised her brow. Immediately someone cuffed her from behind and Micheal fell to the ground. “What took you so long?.” Prince Micheal scolded Jeff.. “I'm sorry, I was busy stealing this cuff from some other ladies.” “Jeff!!” Prince Anderson exclaimed excitedly. “How did you find me?.” Jeff smiled. “I didn't find you, they did.” Prince Anderson, looked to his right and saw princess Aria and her spy. The broke Prince Anderson out of prison and we're about to escape when a scream from behind sent them all flying to the ground. “How dare you come into my kingdom asking for help, and then you kill almost all my soldiers. But guess what it is difficult to kill that which is already dead.” As soon as the words left her mouth, the women which they had killed all stood up, there mouths filled with blood. Jeff whispered to Prince Micheal, and he urged the others to run and not look back. “What are you waiting for servant boy, why don't you also run along. We love the chase.” Jeff closed his eyes and connected to the wolf in him. His eyes became red and terrifying, but Reah refused to back down. With one swift move Jeff devoured them and then passed out returning to his original human form. “Where is Jeff, I thought he was right behind us. You told us not to look back.” Prince Anderson snapped at Micheal as soon as they were out of the witches village. As Jeff laid still on the ground, a majestic wolf emerged from the shadows, its eyes glowing with an ethereal light. The wolf padded silently towards Jeff, its fur rustling softly in the wind. With a gentle nudge, the wolf touched Jeff's limp body, and to the prince's amazement, the wolf carefully lifted Jeff onto its back. The wolf's eyes seemed to hold a deep understanding, as if it had been waiting for this moment. With Jeff secure on its back, the wolf began to move, its powerful legs carrying them both effortlessly out of the witch's village. The prince watched in awe as the wolf navigated through the dense foliage, its movements fluid and silent. As they emerged into the open, the wolf gently lowered Jeff to the ground, and with a final glance, it vanished into thin air. The prince stared after it, still trying to process what he had just witnessed. The prince stared in awe and silence. Anderson carried the unconscious Jeff on his shoulders and walked towards Eryndor. “I failed, I couldn't find any solution to stop those missing as soon as they step outside the palace walls.” Anderson lamented. Princess Aria tapped his shoulder gently. “I took care of the source when the three of us were kidn*pped, I don't think anyone would go missing ever again.” Prince Micheal stared at Jeff who was still unconscious, is this how it was going to be?, Jeff would risk his life and someone else would take the credit for it. He felt sorry for him but made up his mind to be the best friend Jeff never had. Three days later the three of them arrived at Eryndor, the people screamed and jubilated, but Terry and Andersons uncle were furious. “Now that your precious nephew is back, are you going to dump me and focus more on him?.” Terry asked his uncle feeling threatened, his uncle stroked his chin thinking of the perfect response.
