Chapter 12. Terry stared at his uncle, he had always wondered why he was at war with his father, but now was not the time or was it?. “If you keep on staring silently I would be forced to throw you out of here.” The Kings brother finally spoke. He was furious over the fact that he was losing control over Anderson, and now this loser wants to bother him. “Why do you hate my father?.” Terry blurted out. “Same reason you hate Anderson, you think I don't see it in your eyes. How you stare at the throne and even sit on it when no one is around.” Terry blinked his eyes suddenly feeling hot. “You even tried to make Jeff switch sides, is that not so?.” Terry looked at him, he was impressed. This man knew about him than he had realized. “I am just waiting for the right time, and I will strike with such a powerful blow that will knock the king down his feet, then I will take the throne and take your heads.” Terry's eyes widened in shock, did his uncle just threaten to murder him and his entire family?, he loved him instantly. Terry smiled. “An enemy of my enemy is a friend.” He stood to shake his Uncle's hand. His Uncle smiled and shook him, wondering why someone would want to make such a a mistake. In the cell, the spy and Anderson stood closely together trying to understand the strange language. Anderson placed his elbow on the spy's shoulder while stroking his chin. She jumped and pushed him away. “We are going to need help from someone, and you won't like who it's going to be but we have no choice.” Anderson nodded. A part of him wanted to end this truce now and find Jeff himself, and that was exactly what he was going to do. “I will meet with you tomorrow, and then tell you what the word means, but remember you can not tell anyone else.” Anderson nodded and swore. It was a boring day in the palace for Anderson, without Jeff troubling him he felt alone and troubled. Sitting idly in his room, he decided to go for a walk outside. “I am sorry your highness but you can not leave the palace, it's an order.” The prince stared curiously at the guard. The gates opened and a citizen entered in crying and wailing pleading to see the King. The guards took her in, while they listened to her terrifying ordeal. “I and my mother were in the kitchen this morning, when he felt someone, something enter into our home; it was invisible but it's presence was not.” The woman said while sobbing. Anderson crossed one leg over another, trying to imagine the scene. “ And then just like that my mother was gone, I ran I could feel it behind me but it left me for some reason.” The king, wise men and guards murmured. The king sat his mind overthinking, Micheal was the first person to go missing in the palace, and then Jeff. Could it be that Micheal wasn't partying with his friends but had also gone missing?. “This is the part where you all realize how incapable your king is.” The Kings brother said with a mocking tone. Everyone looked at the king waiting for a response, but the King was silent he had no idea what he should or shouldn't do but one thing was certain he needed to keep the people safe. “Guards, go and bring the people here, let them live in the palace every single person.” The guards moved without hesitation, Anderson stood but was stopped by his father. “Where do you think you are going?.” The king asked him. “I can't just sit here and do nothing while people go missing.” The king understood but he was more valuable alive than dead. “I am not going to die?.” Prince Anderson argued. “For the first time I agree with your father.” The Kings brother said. “It's best you stay here, I promised your mother that I would look after you. If anything were to happen to you I won't be able to forgive myself.” The king rolled his eyes. Anderson stormed angrily to his room. The spy had being gone for two days, without any communication. He thought they were a team. Terry smiled sensing an opportunity. The Kings brother rubbed his palm together and walked away briskly. The king was extremely suspicious of him, he whispered to the head guard. “Keep a close eye on him.” The guard nodded. The king sensed treason. During the day Eryndor was safe and the people went about with there daily trade, but as the sun sets the disappearance of the people increased. The people that remained trooped into the palace mourning loved ones and friends. Anderson was frustrated, he went to his father. “Dont you see what's happening, we need to fight fire with fire. We need the help of a sorcerer.” The king stared with darkened eyes. “Magic is forbidden and you know it.” The king said yelling. “Fine then you sit there and watch the people disappear until we are entirely wiped away, I will go and find help.” Anderson left the palace, the Kings and the guards tried to stop him but couldn't. The King could only hope the prince was safe out there especially during the dark. “No, this wasn't part of the plan.” The Kings brother paced around in his room. He never wanted to endager Anderson. A strange man appeared in his room. “I have no hand in this and you know it, it was his decision to leave the palace, now no one in the palace in safe.” Anderson was the shield of the people, his presence in the palace shielded it. But even he himself was unaware of the power his chain had. The Kings brother looked at his hands as they shivered. Anderson was the one who kept the palace walls safe, but now he was gone anything could happen. He needed to save himself. *Jeff Connects with his wolf..* As Jeff meditated, he could feel a strange heat in his body. He had being kidn*pped after stopping Arias spell, he did not know where he was. “I brought company.” A strange man said and dropped princess Aria forcefully on the grass close to Jeff. “You are going to pay for this when I get out of here.”Aria threatened. The strange man stood fearlessly her empty threats meant nothing to him, magic couldn't work in these parts. “And just what are you going to do?.” The strange man mocked.
