Chapter 18..
Third Persons Pov .
The palace was filled with cheers and celebration, everyone was happy that the prince was alive. Terry had filled there hearts with fear.
Prince Anderson walked towards his Uncle.
“You must have missed me a lot.” He whispered into his Uncle's ears.
Terry's blood boiled seeing them so closely together. He walked away. The king was highly displeased, he had spoken about risking his life to find his brother but now he didn't even welcome him.
“What's wrong with Jeff?.” The king asked looking concerned.
Prince Micheal cleared his throat, it was then the King noticed him, princess Aria and her spy.
He frowned as soon as he set his eyes on princess Aria.
“Magic is forbidden in this kingdom, arrest them.” As the knights approached the princess, Prince Micheal stopped them.
“We would not have made it out alive without there help.” The King froze as soon as he heard Andersons voice. Did he get help from these outcasts.
“I appreciate all you have done for my sons, but it is time you leave. Your presence is no longer needed.”
The Kings words enraged the princess and she stepped forward, the spy held her back .
She could not believe that after everything she did for the Kings sons, he would throw her out with such ungratefulness in his eyes.
“Aria!.” Jeff called out in his unconscious state. Several heads turned to Andersons shoulders where he laid. Anderson quickly took him upstairs.
The King shifted his gaze towards the princess but they were gone. He gritted his teeth, he hated them; it was a good thing they left peacefully.
The citizens waved the king goodbye as they left the palace and went back to there homes, all those who were missing were back.
“Where have you being?.” Amanda asked her only son.
“I don't know mom, I felt trapped in some kind of space it was a weird feeling. I'm just glad I'm back home now.” He hugged his parents and they left.
The palace returned to its silent state after the people had all gone home, the King felt extremely lonely.
His sons were all grown now and none of them had the time to look after him.
He decided it was time for him to get remarried.
“What is wrong with you Jeff?.” The prince touched his forehead with a questioning look.
All he said was princess Arias name.
As the prince sat on Jeff's bed staring a feeling of betrayal washed over him, he had betrayed someone.
The woman who gave him back his mother's pendant.
He ran without looking back and she was engulfed with the flame that killed the others.
There was nothing to worry about when she was already dead, nothing he could do except look for her father and make sure he was well taken care of.
“I'm leaving now, but I will be back and I will check on you. Let me go find help or medicine.” Prince Anderson spoke to the unconscious Jeff.
“I am disappointed in you.” Anderson lifted his eyes, his ears recognized his Uncle's voice.
“Disappointed, why?.” He asked his arms on his waist.
“Why do you care so much about this servant, what changed you?, just look at you. You have not taken a proper shower in days, you stink. You have become soft, what about the ring, have you forgotten all that?.”
His Uncle gestured with his hands trying his best to whisper and not yell.
Prince Anderson was extremely quiet, he walked towards the door and held his Uncle's hand firmly.
“This is not the time or place for this, he is not doing well. You told me that my father does not have a heart but you are the one who always acts like monster.”
His Uncle was stunned and shaken, he had never being so insulted that way by anyone.
Terry who had being listening from a distance smirked.
Jeff's Vision..
Aria: Give me the ring, I need it..
Arias mistress: You work for me and not the opposite, you can not harness or control its powers.
Rather than becoming immortal you will die.
Jeff could see them, but they could not see him. He felt dead and was extremely worried.
Looking around the strange temple, he wondered why the scene looked extremely familiar.
Jeff's Ancestor: You do not have to be scared.
You were born here, many years ago; I was.
Jeff looked into the eyes of the old man, what was he trying to say.
Jeff's Ancestor: It is time for you to embrace your destiny and remember who you truly are. You are more than a sorcerer, more than a servant boy.
Jeff: All these things you are saying I can not understand any of it.
Jeff's Ancestor: That ring is cursed, you must find it before any one does and destroy it.
Jeff: I have no business with the ring, all I want to do is find my parents, once I do that I will quit my job and get them out of Eryndor.
Jeff's Ancestor: As long as you keep running away from your destiny you will keep your loved ones in danger.
Jeff: What danger?.
