We finished our combat testing on Monday. Two more had failed out of the course so we were down to four of us. Today was our second portion of testing. It is like running a giant obstacle course, one wrong move and it’s a failure. Luna JoAnne and I had fun racing on the training course together. We were pretty evenly matched and laughed and had fun while doing it. We both believed it helped alleviate the stress that can cause mistakes. Since I cannot shift I am not eligible to attend the third session but I look forward to cheering on my friends through it.
I walked over to the testing observation area to see Mom, Dad, Sophie, and Johnathan waiting for me. I laughed, hugging them. “My very own cheering squad I see.” Mom did her typical hugs, worries, and lecture about being safe.
