Chapter 14Riley feared he was gonna be sick. He’d forgotten, if only for a short time, about the world outside. He’d been with Gabe, and things had been great, but then f*****g Stephen had showed up and shattered everything. Now Riley wanted to step into the closest shower and scrub himself raw.
Gabe kept looking at him, and he wished he could hide. Maybe he’d forgotten Riley was trash, too. Someone people could do whatever they wanted to. Worthless.
The car came to a stop, but Gabe didn’t get out. “Do we need to talk about it?”
