Queen Dominika's eyes dilated in surprise.All the remedies she's been requesting for, was for the elimination of the prince's thirst for human blood but never has she thought that her son could one day, be a human like her.
“Really Easton? How? When will that be?”Queen Dominika catechized him in all curiosity.
“According to the story I read,A man named Uriah was turned into a vampire after being called by an evil spirit in the forest. Well,in the history of that story,the pine tree which Uriah and his lover sat close to was cursed by a vampire to turn whosoever wishes to live forever.
Uriah made a wish to live with his lover,Peridot,forever and that was why he was called into the evil forest by the evil spirits and he was turned into a vampire”
“What has this got to do with my son?”Queen Dominika asked,shrugging her shoulders.
“According to the story,Uriah's lover had killed herself thinking Uriah was dead then Uriah returned back to the hamlet after being turned to a vampire.He gazed fixedly at Peridot's tomb...

Uriah's gaze was fixed on the tomb beside Kehlani's cottage.His eyes were red in color shining bright in the dark night,his fingers had metamorphosed into claws and his canines had elongated into fangs.
“Why did you leave me?”He asked sadly but his voice sounded like a whispering wind to humans.
Just then,Peridot's body arose from the tomb and stood like a statue.There was tears in her eyes and her face was filled with pain and sadness.
Uriah leaned down to face her and he kissed her lips passionately,something he had never done to her before.He grazed her left lower abdomen with his claws,giving her two claw-like marks on her left lower abdomen.
“You and I are inseparable. We must end up together.From today,I promise that poison shall never harm you and you shall marry me in your next life to come”Saying that,he kissed her again and Peridot's body laid back in the tomb.

“Hold on a second,are you trying to say that my son is Uriah?”Queen Dominika asked in confusion but Easton shook his head negatively.
“Uriah's reincarnated in form of the prince.And only the woman with the claw-like mark can change the prince because Peridot has reincarnated into a lady,and this lady exists on earth”
“What makes you think my son would wish to be human?His thirst for human blood is unexplainable,Easton. Why did Uriah have to come in form of my son? Why didn't his reincarnation come from other people's children, why my son?”Dominika asked amidst tears.
“I'm sorry my Queen but I have no idea why Uriah chose to come in form of the prince.But as for the lady who can change Uriah...er...I mean the prince,she has to have the claw-like mark.And the prince's healing can only happen if they mate”Easton explained.
Queen Dominika sighed frustratedly. If only money could buy her son's cure,then she would give it all to the seller.But the remedy to her son's problem was not money.He needed the woman that he loved in his past life.why did Uriah choose her son? Oh her poor son.Queen Dominika wept profusely.
Easton got on his feet when the Queen burst in tears.It was disrespectful to be seated while a royal wept.He wanted to pacify her by placing his hand on her shoulders but it will also be termed a taboo to do that as well.Only the king and the members of the Royal family had the right to touch the queen.
“So how do we find the girl in question now? I need my son to be back to normal.I want my human son and not some vampire ”Queen Dominika queried as she looked at Easton enquiringly.
“That is where the problem lies my Queen.There are thousands of girls in Castle Zircon but how do we recognise the one with the claw-like mark?”
“How sure are we that girl in question is from this Castle? This is really puzzling,how do we ascertain it?”Queen Dominika asked perplexingly and ruffled her hair in frustration. Easton was as well confused.He kept pacing back and forth in the chamber trying to think of something.
Easton paced back and forth for almost five minutes before an idea popped up in his head and his eyes lit up into a smile.
“I think I know what we should do”He said to the hearing of Queen Dominika who looked curiously at him.
“What should we do?”She gaped at him.
“We should organise a regale, inviting all the seven closest dorps to Castle Zircon as it is very large and can accommodate up to a billion people.Including the two genders in this invitation would decrease any tendency of suspicion from people ”Easton expounded and Queen Dominika 's eyes lit up in ecstasy but her ecstasy vanished when she realised something.
“But this girl in question would have a claw-like mark on her left lower abdomen,how do we single her out from the crowd?”Queen Dominika asked and Easton nodded in agreement.He didn't think of that.
He began pacing back and forth again.trying to think of something.

★CASTLE CORAL★
Princess Gersemi laid on her bed.It was 11pm already.It was time to sleep.The day was exhausting for her.After having dinner with her family which turned sour because of princess Jennell's outburst,she and the king had sat in his chamber,discussing about the activities in Castle coral,then,Pearlene prepared a bath for her,she bathed and she and Pearlene fell into another round of discussion which took a lot of her time.
Finally,she began feeling sleepy and had to retire to bed.Pearlene left for her room as well.
Princess Gersemi's mind recalled back to the novel she was reading earlier in the day.Her curiosity was at it's peak as she pondered on what had happened to Uriah in the story.
“Will he get Peridot back to life?will they get married? Arggh! How I wish I had finished reading the novel before Pearlene came.First thing tomorrow morning,I'm skulking to the library to finish that book”Princess Gersemi settled in her heart and grinned widely,fantasising on how Uriah would look like and her favourite,Peridot. Such a lovely couple, she thought.
“URIYAH!!”
Princess Gersemi jerked up when she heard the deep voice call loudly.was her head playing games with her?
“Uggh!...stop imagining things Gersemi ”Princess Gersemi slapped her head and laid back on the bed.She shut her eyes and clutched tightly at her pillow.
“URIYAH!!”
Princess Gersemi shut her eyes tightly.Why was her imaginations playing tricks on her? She tried drifting to sleep but sleep had eluded her as fear had gripped her.
“URIYAH!!”
She heard again but didn't get up from the bed.The curtains began making swishing sounds and princess Gersemi slowly opened her eyes.What kind of breeze is this?she wondered.
The roaring of the wind could be heard and Princess Gersemi got up from the bed in fright.
The candle lights were beginning to blow out already as a result of the wind.She couldn't afford to let them blow out as she never fancied sleeping in darkness.
“URIYAH!! ”
She heard it audibly.It sounded like the person calling Uriah's name was in her room and she froze in one spot.This wasn't her Imagination anymore. This was real.
Princess Gersemi mustered up a bit of courage and made to walk towards the windows so as to shut them,when a hand touched her shoulder lightly and a loud shriek escaped her mouth.She ran towards the door and pushed it open,screaming and running with no particular direction.
The king and queen emerged from their chambers and Princess Gersemi bumped into them.
“My princess, what is the matter?”The king asked in a concerned tone.Princess Gersemi hugged him,trembling with fear.
The hallway had started brimming with some maids and guards who had heard the princess' voice.
“You all should return to your posts”The king ordered the guards and maids and they all turned back,heading to their posts at once.
“Princess,talk to me”The king said to princess Gersemi who clutched at his robe tightly.She was still trembling .That touch felt real.He touched her.Whoever it was in her room, had touched her.She only read the book,she never wished for her to be part of it.Why did he call Uriah's name in her room,why did he touch her?
Princess Gersemi wondered as she bursts into tears.
“I think she was having a nightmare.Sort that out.I'm off to bed”Queen Irina said to the king and turned back to her room door.
“were you having a nightmare? ”
“Can I sleep in your room?”
Princess Gersemi's question met the king unawares.He wasn't expecting that from her but he was sure whatever was bothering her,was real.
The king took the princess into his room and she sat on the chair still trembling. The king glanced at his daughter's face_the ever cheerful face has changed into a frightened one.what could frighten her this much?
He shuffled to a jar of water and poured some water into a cup and took it to her.Princess Gersemi got hold of the cup and gulped down all the content in it.
“Relax okay.You can tell me all about it”King Antonio said softly as he stared at her curiously.
“Father...Father I'm sorry”She began as she bursts into tears.King Antonio was thrown into utter confusion. Why was she apologising ?
“what's the problem my princess?”
“Promise that you're gonna forgive me if I told you what I did”Princess Gersemi said remorsefully and the king nodded his head.
“I promise”
Now it was time for princess Gersemi to speak up but she said nothing.
“Princess,I'm waiting,what is it you want to tell me?”The king asked peering into her face
“I...fine...I usually sneak into the library ”Princess Gersemi confessed,making king Antonio's eyeballs almost popping out of its socket.What he could only hear was the word 'LIBRARY'
