Chapter 2: From Hell To Harvard

    Finally, god I do not like airplanes keep it on the ground people I thought as we finally landed and i got out of that hellhole. After 2000 hours (shh it was only 1) I got out of customs everything seemed normal but except bitchy rich woman was attempting to murder me with her eyes. My thought were interrupted by a tall Latino dude with jet black hair warm brown eyes skin darkened by the sun and "Miss are you Melina Kyle," I nodded my head "your brother has made me your personal chauffeur. My name is Rafe Gilbert, so Miss where to?" Rafe asked.

    "Harvard please, also call me Melina or Mel."I stated I kept a calm face but inside I was freaking out I was going to collage. Where I didn't know anyone fortunately no one knew me so could be me. The lady  puked on keeps sending me daggers with her eyes so that's a problem. It was just a little puke nobody should be that mad  sure it stinks to high heaven and those cloths cost thousands but she will live.

        Well if I am going to work with Rafe then we are going to be close. I turned to Rafe "So how did you get this job?". Rafe looked at me for a moment sighed and then said "I used to live in Retmil with my mom.We worked in the castle I never went in  but once to bring in her lunch and I saw the most despicable thing in the world. Mom was serving the men she accidentally brought the food cold by a few minutes and they beat her till she died." Rafe had tears strolling down his face. "I saw my mom murdered right in front of me and I was helpless to stop it.

    I sat silent for a moment I thought I had it but to truly be working for psychopaths was something I never had to endure. And for that I was glad. I didn't no what to say so I said the first thing off my mind.

    "I never had to go through what you have and saying sorry won't ever be enough. So we are going to avenge your mom and so lets go burn the world!" I stated Rafe looked at me truly looked at me for the first.All he said was thanks and even then I barely heard him.I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep dreaming of my mother Kera she was the most prettiest person to ever walk the earth. With soft chestnut skin, silky long raven black hair, and pure silver eyes she had men falling at her feet. But unlike my father she was true to her husband and didn't sleep around men sent her gifts that were worth hundreds.Father noticed them a punished mother beat her till all the light faded out of her she warned me of my father and I tried to avoid all the time.I shook my head to clear the thought of my past forget the past and look to the future.

    "we're here Melina." Rafe smiled 

    "wish me luck." I said as I got out of the car and look at the HUMONGOUS building in front of me. This was my future and with that thought I smiled.
