Jade's P.O.V

Come on Jade how stupid are you pig sitting for Lewis again, he's going to kill me if he finds out I lost hammy. Ironic he named his pig Hammy right.

"Here piggy, piggy here piggy," I called out looking for Lewis's lost pig that I was supposed to be pig sitting.

"Damnit I hate Lewis for leaving me with his pig whilst he's off on that stupid cruise with his parents leaving me to watch his pig, see this is why I am a loner, people tick me off," I say to Genevieve my one and only best friend.

"I got him," Blake yelled, walking over toward me and Gen with the pig in his hands.

"Oh thank goodness, maybe you should watch him for the rest of the time Gen I am going to be very busy with stuff,'' I tell Gen who looks at me weirdly.

"By that you mean I hate this pig I'm giving him to you and you have no choice in the matter cause I will fight you on this and win, that's the kind of stuff you're busy with." She said sarcastically, 

"See, this is why we are best friends, you get me," I told her while hugging her.

"Yeah yeah, whatever," she said annoyed by me. I couldn't help but laugh as I walked away gosh she really is mad at me for this but you know what I don't care because, to be honest, I hate that pig, do you know how hard it is to Pig sit. It's like pet-sitting except with a pig that's a pet and well you get the idea.

As soon as I got home I heard some yelling hmm dad must have had another one of his w****s over, and mom caught him again. Only a few more months till I turn 18 and can leave this Hell hole. Now if you're thinking my parents and I are some lovey-dovey happy family that's perfect and never fights, well I hate to burst your bubble but we aren't.

You wanna know what my life is really like. Well, let me tell you. You see, my father has had an awful habit of always having s*x with other women in my parents' bed, yes, he married my mother, wow, still having s*x with other women, I don't know why he does that. My theory is that he doesn't and really never has loved my mother. And you want to know what happens after he usually does all that my mother comes home to catch him doing it and usually by that time they already arguing when I get home and then well this is when the bad things really start to happen you see my older brother used to take all the burden off of my shoulders so he was the one who got into the fights but now it's me because my parents don't bother to not fight around me they actually bring me into it that's how I ended up with a scar on my right arm left leg and in the middle of my back why because, the arm happened because my father threw a chair at my mother but missed the leg actually happened because my mom threw my father's rings at him when it got lodged in my thigh because I was trying to stop them from killing each other. And last but not least my parents both did this on my back it was in the middle of summer so I had no escape to school usually I just went over to Gen's house but it didn't work because I was grounded that week for something I didn't even do. So my parents decided after I went to Gen's house without permission to get a knife 5 inches is how far a cut into my spine, after that I decided not to get involved in their fights or even pay them any attention. Because all I wanted to do after that was get out of here. And as for why my older brother stopped protecting me was because he was murdered. 

And do you wanna know the secret about me? I am a normal abused teenager by day, but by night I am a vigilante.
