Chapter 18

Jade’s P.O.V

When I woke up I was lying on a light brown couch. I looked around only to see Adara, Apollo, and Anala staring at me with concern in their eyes.Then I remembered everything that Artemis had told me, that I was the chosen one. Suddenly Artemis walked into the room holding a mug that I’m guessing is filled with tea. She handed the cup to me and I instantly knew by the aroma it was giving off that it was most definitely tea. I took a slow sip of it to calm my nerves. 

“Jade what do you remember?” Apollo asked me.

“I remember how Artemis told me I’m the so-called chosen one. After that everything is all a blur.” I tell him before sipping more of my tea. 

“Okay, well at least you don’t have amnesia.” Apollo says before sitting down in a chair on the other side of the room.

“I think you should take some time to rest.” Adara tells me.

“How can I rest? I haven’t slept in four weeks, I haven’t slept since I last saw James. I didn’t even know I could get this attached to a person, let alone a guy I hardly know.” I say before rubbing my temples with one hand. Then Adara, Anala, and Artemis all leave the room, only me and Apollo remain in the room. 

“Jade The sisters and I were talking, and they said it would be best if you went back to see your mate, just to let him know you're okay and the sisters and I will go with you and we’ll continue your training there. So what do you think?” He asks after telling me the idea. 

“Really, I think that’s a great idea, when do we leave?” I ask him.

“How about 10 minutes the sisters and I can leave whenever because we can teleport.”

“Screw leaving in 10 minutes I’m ready to go now.” I say before jumping on Apollo’s back.

“Onward trusty steed!” I say in a british accent.

“Get off my back.”He tells me, before I jump off his back.

“Aww, you're no fun.” I tell him with a fake pouty face before I burst out laughing.

“But seriously we are leaving now.” I tell him before he opens a portal to lead us back to Earth’s dimension. We walk into the portal and instantly I land perfectly on the ground.

“Woah I actually landed on my feet that time.” I say shocked.

“Good for you, now can you get off me!” Apollo says before I look down and see that I’m standing on Apollo’s back.

“Oh sorry.” I say before stepping off his back. I then looked up only to see the familiar building I know as James’s house, he never explained the whole werewolf thing to me. All I know is I’m his mate, he's an Alpha, and that he has a pack. 

After a minute of staring at the castle type building Apollo and I started walking towards the place. Once we were almost there I saw James come running out and rushing to me.

“Oh thank the Moon Goddess you’re alright Jade, I was so worried.” He says as he hugs me tightly.

“I missed you too, but if you don’t loosen your grip a little, then I’m gonna be missing air more.” I say causing him to let go of me.

James’s P.O.V

I was sitting in my office doing some trying to find out who could have possibly taken my mate. When Colby came into my office with a  look on his face like there was a cake, which if you know Colby you know he has a thing for cake.

“A..a..Alpha the Luna is back.” and with that I quickly followed him down the stairs and out the back door where I saw my mate a little ways away.

I opened the door and ran towards my mate. Once I got to her I squeezed her tight and spoke.

“Oh thank the Moon Goddess you’re alright Jade, I was so worried.”

“I missed you too, but if you don’t loosen your grip a little, then I’m gonna be missing air more.” she tells me causing me to release her.

“Sorry.” I say before I look over only to notice a male. I growled lowly, before grabbing Jade by her waist and pulling her against my side.

“Who the hell are you?” I asked him before growling. Next thing I know Jade kissed my cheek causing me to calm down a little, before she speaks up.

“We have a lot to talk about, why don’t we go inside? I'll explain everything, I promise.” She says leading me into the house.

Once we got inside we walked upstairs and into my office, before I sat at my desk pulling Jade down onto my lap. As Mason and Colby and the other male sat down on the leather chairs I had in my office.

“Okay what was it that you want to talk about?” I ask her.

“Right.” She says before standing up and walking over to the window.

“This is Apollo, he's my familiar or guardian protector type being.” She says pointing at the male I had growled at earlier.

“Okay, but what happened to you, who took you?” I asked her.

“I don’t know who took me or why, all I know is what I truly am now.” She says before turning back towards us all.

“W...what do you mean what you truly are?” I asked.

“Well if you’d stop interrupting me and actually let me speak you would know.” She says before glaring at me causing my wolf to submit to her.

“I’m not from this dimension, I’m actually from a place called Dorvale my mother was a Dorvalian royal court witch my father is a king of a place called Kovalia and he’s also a vampire. So I’m a vampire witch hybrid.” She says before stopping. I slowly let the words sink in that my mate wasn’t what I thought she was, but I came to realize I didn’t care about that, all I cared about was her.

“Everyone but Jade can you please leave.” I tell them. They all leave the room leaving me and Jade alone. I stood up and walked over to her and grabbed her by the waist and nuzzled my head in the crook of her neck.

“I love you Jade, I want you to know that.” I say before removing my head from her neck and passionately kissing her on the lips, her kissing back just as passionately.
