Over the next few days, Tristan remained unconscious in the hospital. He was injured badly, and the doctors said he wouldn’t be discharged anytime soon. Thankfully, Asher and Sid had stayed in Blazewood Pack to help stabilize the situation.
And we hadn’t caught the person who set the fire yet. The security footage didn’t capture anything, and Claude fled back to Ironclaw Pack the same night. Even though I was sure Helena was involved, I couldn’t do anything without solid proof.
I spent the next few days buried in meetings with the construction team, coordinating material deliveries, and finalizing blueprints.
Finally, a week after the fire, I heard Tristan had woken up.
He did end up in the hospital because of me. I felt it was only right to visit him.
