My mind went completely blank.
This was the first time I’d spoken to my brother in 4 years. And the first thing he told me was to never come home.
Tears ran down my cheeks. I collapsed onto the ground, sobbing uncontrollably.
“Elin... he doesn’t want me back. He’s still mad with me for marrying Tristan...” I cried, burying my face in my hands.
And why wouldn’t he be? I was the one who walked away from my family. Maybe I deserve this.
