Evelyn’s POV
Then Tristan started striding over to us.
Within seconds, he was in our way.
“Can I see you for a second, Evelyn?” he asked stiffly.
My eyes traveled to Leah. She was watching us with a bitter expression. It was precious.
“OK.” I turned to give Asher a soft smile, “See you later, Alpha Asher.”
Asher picked up my hand and left a peck on the back of it.
“Looking forward to your speech,” he replied deeply.
Tristan’s eyes were burning with jealousy.
He turned sharply and walked away. I followed behind his back. As soon as we were alone, he fired away immediately:
“What did you and Alpha Asher talk about? Why did he kiss you?!!”
