Evelyn's POV
Suddenly, the roar of an engine interrupted our gaze.
Asher and I jerked around at the same time and saw a car speeding toward us.
It stopped. Tristan and Leah jumped out.
“Evelyn, what the f**k are you doing!” Tristan charged at me and snapped, “Are you trying to seduce Alpha Asher?”
Leah staggered behind him, shrieking, “I told you she’s a w***e! That child she carried 3 years ago probably wasn’t even yours!”
Anger flared in me.
She can trash me all she wants! But she won’t talk about my child like that!
I stormed up to her and hit her hard across the face.
SLAP!
Half of Leah’s face swelled. She clutched her cheek, staring at me in horror, “You—you slap me?!”
“Have you lost your mind Evelyn?!” Tristan snarled, shoving me away. “Stay away from Leah!”
