THE SILENCE surrounding the dining table was so loud, Clarissa wanted to scream. The intensity of the situation between Nicholas and Sidney was ridiculous because both of them were alphas and no one wanted to back down or be the first to try and break the ice. Sidney must have been upset with the last phone conversation she had with Nicholas and well, Nicholas had a long list of things he didn't want Sidney to do to Clarissa.
Clarissa expected Sidney to be over it since they did talk about Nicholas but she could see that her older sister was far from that. Her eyes were icy cold as they swept down Nicholas' body. Her mouth was pinched into a tight line and she had a pink line across her cheeks. Oh yeah, Sidney was mad!
