Topher was a lot of things, and a romantic was one of them. It wasn’t too obvious for people that didn’t know him, which was why a lot of people thought that he seemed like a flirt that just wanted to get laid. When in fact, he was a flirt that just wanted to fall in love.
As cheesy as it sounds, Topher loved being and receiving love, and he also loved giving it away. That was why when Leonard claimed that Topher had already “fallen” for fourteen people that year alone, he wasn’t far off the bat. He did become head-over-heels for those fourteen people, he did think that he found “the one” fourteen times, he did experience fourteen heartbreaks, and he was able to easily pick himself up after each and every time, only to move on to the next like he had some form of selective amnesia.
