James spent a few hours by the beach to clear his head. The sun had already set, and the wind had grown stronger and colder. He watched in silence as the harsh waves crashed on the shore—the sound of it served as white noise to his buzzing mind. He knew he was wrong—for blaming Topher for the choices he willingly made, and for saying hurtful things to push Topher away, when he probably just wanted to help, simply because he was scared.
