Party and Feelings Time

Become what you want  For you are not who you are Babirusa "Ida you ready or what?" Mum calls from the kitchen as I gather the remainder of my bags, my eyes giving my room one last look over before confirming everything is how it should be. My bed's made, my clothes are folded and put away, my floor is vacuumed and my uniform is on my desk ready for school on Tuesday seeing as how Monday will be our recovering day, my school laptop and bag next to it and waiting for my return and mind clear of things needing to be done for when I get back. Closing the door after making sure my light and power points are off, I'm leaving my room behind for good this time and follow mum and dad's voices sounding from the living room. "Ah there you are, I thought you were lost in there, you ready to go?" Dad asks when they lay their eyes on me entering the living room, my head nodding while he comes over to relieve me of my heavy looking bags. "Good now get in the car before you're late for your own plans." he grins then heads over with mum to the front door. Double checking I have everything and helping them with loading the bags in the car, we all jump in and make a detour to a Bottle-o, confusion setting in up until I realise they're buying me alcohol for tonight. "We're not stupid, there's going to be drinks there and we're not having you rock up with nothing." Mum grins after I go to open my mouth to protest then asking me what I like to drink. "Thank you I mean I would have been happy to drink whatever was there if there were drinks." I state innocently yet know for a fact there will be drinking tonight and laugh with Mum and Dad at my comment.  "Right Ida, well here you go and make them last. Your father and I aren't dropping more alcohol off to you because you drank them too fast." she warns me prior to passing them over and we're out of the Bottle-o.  "Yes Mum I will, and I don't have the balls to ring you up and ask for more anyway." I admit though laugh evilly when Dad starts up a tale of how he used to be like that and would ring his mates to bring him more alcohol when he ran out. "Well that ain't happening tonight so don't give her any ideas." Mum scolds jokingly but I know for a fact Dad would be chilled enough to drop it off as well as have one with me. Like it would be awkward for him to have to put up with a bunch of people half his age, yet he should be used to it by now considering he has had his partying days. Finally arriving at Ankara's place, I give them both a hug and kiss before grabbing my things out of the car, Dad offering me help which I turn it down in favour of them not cramping my style even though my friends think they're as cool as me if not cooler. Like every time my mates would come over to hang out with me, they see my parents always end up chilling with them instead considering some of them smoke pot and my parents so happen too as well. Well my Mum does, not so much my Dad because of the trauma he has been through becomes too much for him to keep hidden when he smokes it and he is unable to block it all out like he can when he is sober. When he drinks it is different, he is more docile then what he used to be after remembering some of the violent and crazy stories, but funny all the same and do enjoy his company sometimes when he isn't being a complete retard. "Are you sure Ida?" he repeats for the millionth time. "Yes Dad, now you two go and enjoy the house to yourselves, I'll be gone for a bit." I wink when I close the car door and lean down to meet their faces through dad's opened window. "Alright, go and have fun and please be safe and ring me if anything happens!" Mum pleads for the last time, a soft smile forming on my lips as I give her a small nod. "Of course Mum, now go before you make me want to come back home." I joke though a part of me sort of doesn't want to leave them regardless of how much fun is waiting for me right up this driveway, taking a bit in me to hold back the tears threatening to blur my vision but breathe deeply to clear them and my homesick thoughts. Thinking about yesterday and how excited everyone was about today approaching; I don't think I could bring myself to let them down in telling them that I don't want to go. I'd have to be the worst friend and shittest person in the whole world. Not just that I'd hate myself for not going, I practically had God smiling upon me the day Mum and Dad allowed me to go, there is no f*****g way I am throwing it away now all because I'm getting homesick already!   "IDA! GUYS SHE'S HERE!" Ankara screams into the house as the door flies open, a large grin making its way across my face and instantly wiping away all wants of going home with an imaginary flick of my wrist. "Hey b***h, sorry I took so long I didn't know everyone was waiting for me." I blush as she, Esther, Amelia and Blair all rush out to help, hug and shove a drink into my hand. Laughing at how tipsy they all already are, I enter the house and only sigh at the scene of guys all carrying on taking shots, failing at Xbox and ripping bongs in the kitchen.  Typical Australian gathering... ''IDA!" they all shout in unison and come over to bombard me with hugs and drink spillages. "Thanks guys, I now have to change." I laugh while patting down my singlet and skinnies, Liam's face making his way over through the group and watching as they all step back a little to let him in. "So you're the reason why everyone has stopped drinking." he jokes after giving me a hug and I'm instantly going for the drink in my hand. I'm going to need this if I need to overcome the urge to weaken at the knees every time this bloke touches me, but I can't help it when someone this hot is hanging out in my friend group. "I guess, now you can all continue because the show is over!" I announce over the pumping music and loud conversations. With that the group give one last infamous group greeting by forcing me to chug my drink and get to their level, my throat almost closing up halfway through the can and causing a cough to sound in the back of my throat yet that doesn't stop me. "AH SHE'S GOING FOR MORE!" Dalton shouts then the crowd goes wild, a smile forming at the corners of my mouth and spilling some down the sides of my face. "LIAM LICK IT UP, DON'T WATSE IT OR SHE WILL HAVE TO START AGAIN!" Noah teases and earning a laugh followed by a shove from Liam. "f**k off, whatever you and Amelia do in your own time is your business." Liam shoots back which has me instantly spitting out my drink, the crowd laughing whilst Amelia's telling Liam to go f**k himself and Noah's wiping the hysterical tears from his eyes. "Nice one dude, nice one." Noah eventually gets out when he calms his laugher down alongside Liam who is now bumping fists with one another. "I thought so myself." Liam grins before I'm losing them in a different conversation. "So Ida, how are you feeling right now? Homesick or feeling like you could use another drink?" Blair shouts over the music as we take a seat on the couch and observe Amelia, Ankara and Esther play beer pong with the guys. "Good, I was actually going to get another drink. How about you, you wanna come with me?" I ask and get up to extend a hand towards her. "Sure." she beams until necking the rest of her drink and taking my hand. Throwing the empty cans in the bin Blair disappears out of the kitchen and leaves me with the task of getting us a drink, a laugh sounding in the back of my throat when I hear her yell out it is her turn until busying myself in the fridge for the drinks I placed in there when I got here, but turn seconds later at the sound of someone coming in and tighten my grip on the drinks so I don't drop them. "Hey Ida I was just in here grabbing a drink." Liam beams as he sort of stumbles his way over, a smile breaking out over my lips when I welcome the hot guy with open arms. "That's okay Liam I shall get you a drink." I declare prior to breaking away from the embrace and sluggishly pulling a can from its carrier then handing it to him. "There we are, and one for me and one for Blair." I grin crookedly then slam the fridge door shut with a spin on my heel so that I'm once again facing the kitchen entrance. "Alright, let's go then." he smiles whilst offering me his arm to take. Doing so without listening to the butterflies in my stomach, I hand Blair her drink who forgot about it due to being distracted by the game of beer pong she and Mitch are getting really into, and when I mean into, I mean flirting. Kind of like me point five seconds ago with Liam in the kitchen only I didn't have my ass and back pushed right into him, waiting for my turn of beer pong I'm surely going to be invited into soon enough.  "Thanks biiiitch, you wanna play?" Blair slurs with a devilish but sloppy grin. See told you. "Yeah come on Ida, you and Liam on a team with Blair and I, we will verse whoever else wants to go next."  "Fine Mitch, Liam, you down?" "f**k yeah." "Alright, let's do this." Setting up our drinks and a quick briefing on the rules, we're off and to be honest, I f*****g suck balls at this game and I think my team are starting to rethink me being on this team. Liam however doesn't mind, he's solely enjoying the fact that he gets to get close and friendly with me while Blair and Mitch have their turn. I enjoy his arm over the shoulder as well as the close standing to the point where we are arm to shoulder. Why, well because he towers over me a little though but not by much, I have my parents to thank for the short height. Especially my Mum... At one point I even had an arm around his middle and felt every muscle move when he laughed or leaned forward to accept a cigarette. And I will admit I like every second of his skin and touch against mine. "I'll be back I'm just going to have a cone." Liam murmurs near my ear once feeling his presence behind me and hands on either side of my hips. "Okay, I'll wait here if you want?" I offer whilst peering over at Blair and Mitch having their turn. "I was hoping you would come with me." he half-smiles as a slight blush forms on his cheeks, my heart fluttering a little before I'm nodding my head and letting Blair know that we'll be back in a second. "Don't worry, I'll get Ankara and Dalton to fill in." Blair informs me, the both of us sharing a quick hug then I'm off back to the kitchen with Liam. Watching as he packs himself a cone, he lights it and pulls it with I must admit good lung power until blowing out the large cloud of smoke out the window, observing as the frosty wind picks it up and takes it into the darkness. "Want one?" he asks after recovering and taking a swig of his can. Recalling all the times I have ever smoked one and the times I've also coughed up a lung after smoking one, I peer at the still clean water and finally give in. "Sure, I mean don't laugh at me if I die or anything." I blush when I make my way over to the bong with Liam's body pressed against my side as if supporting me. "I won't, I won't even tell anyone we were here." he grins once I've packed my small cone and am handed the warm lighter. Here goes nothing. Putting it to my lips, I spark the lighter and watch as the stuff in the metal cone piece turns a bright orange, the hot burning ash sucking through the hole and cooling off in the water. Blowing it out the window and finding that I didn't die, I feel my balls grow a little as I go for another one and a bit bigger this time, Liam laughing when I pull the second one through though find that it's enough for my lungs. "You good?" he chuckles as I recover and have a swig of my drink, my head nodding until I rest my back against the bench. "f**k that actually got me a bit." I laugh while rubbing my hands over my face, my brain reminding me at the last minute of my makeup and thank the lord I only put on small amounts. "I can see that, you wanna go back?" he asks though feel him shift to stand in front of me, my wrists now in his hands and moving them to over his shoulders so he's able to wrap both arms around my middle. "Um I don't know, do you?" I squeak when I feel his pants move in a way that has my stomach throbbing. "I don't mind, whatever you want to-" "Heyyyyy, I can come back?" Amelia grins after she witnesses the both of us jump apart, a blush forming on my face as a bit of guilt sets in. They already know I have the hots for Liam, so why hide it from them? He might think I don't want to be seen with him around other people. Though when I steal a look at his face, I change that completely and he seems to be looking at me with want more than anything. "Nah you're alright, we were just coming back." I smile and glance at Liam for him to follow me before Amelia's grabbing her drink and leading the way.
