Watch, hopes grinded into meat  Crushed, our forces are blown Hysteria, bulging eyes Meet your annihilator ATLVS  With my alarm reminding me that today is a new day, the first thing that comes to mind instantly is my parents and their decision. It is also what drives me out of bed instead of setting the snooze button for another ten minutes.  So making sure the covers are completely off and I'm stretching my body out to its fullest, I hop out of bed and make my way to the kitchen and find the both conversing about one of their work's before it's stopped and large smiles take place.  "Morning Ida, how'd you sleep?" Mum greets while taking in my bushy hair and dark eyes.  "Great how about yourselves?" I croak out as I make my way to the fridge and grab the apple juice.  "Good, but I know that this small talk isn't what you are after. So let's cut to the chase and tell you what your mother and I sat up all night discussing." Dad grins and I'm instantly blushing.  Was I too obvious or what? Like I get it if it's the simple glint in the eye but it's as if it's written on my forehead!   "Sure, why not. So what has the council decided?" I question whilst I take a seat on one of the breakfast chairs at the end of the bench, the both swivelling around to face me and sip at their cups as they wait for either one of them to start.  "Okay, well we have agreed but on one condition." Mum starts off with a half-smile creeping into place when she can see I want to explode out of my chair, but it still feels a little surreal and I have to pinch myself to see if I'm dreaming.  "Are you sure you answered or am I hearing s**t?" I almost stammer out though there's silence and I realise they're waiting for me to answer.  "Yes we did answer, but are you going to agree to have your phone on you at all times and tell us exactly where you're going and who you're going with as well as who's taking you all there?" Dad goes on after his half-smile turns into a full blown grin and not even Mum can contain the giggle sounding in the back of her throat.  "Ah-huh, ah I mean yeah of course but, I'm-" "I know, you're still in shock. But let it wear off while you go and get ready for school, we can talk more on it then." she intervenes when she observes the struggle too real for me to say anything else right now.  Nodding my head and doing as told, I jump in the shower with the instant thought of informing my friends that I'm coming.  So rushing through my routine I throw on my uniform before texting everyone and waiting to see who replies first, my insides wanting to spill all over the place due to the excitement being too great for me yet I hang on until hearing the infamous ding of an incoming message and that feeling is back again.  Not replying to the message and ringing Esther considering she was the first to reply, I ask if she is going to stay at school today after we're done yelling and squealing about it.  "Yeah I am, I'm just doing my makeup now." she giggles then something makeup sounding drops in the basin on the other end.  "Ah f**k me." she groans followed by more crashing and banging seconds later.  "Now the sink can have all of my f*****g makeup!" she yells to no one in particular, a grin crawling across my face when I'm realising that I get to witness Esther raging first hand. "I'll call you back later if you want grill, sounds like you and your makeup are about to punch on." I laugh just as she's able to sort her phone and makeup situation out for the time being.  "Alright then, see you at school." she sighs and the line hangs up, a chuckle sounding in the back of my throat until I'm dragging myself to the bathroom to finish myself off.  Standing in front of the mirror and applying the almost white foundation to the lily white skin I have, a skin tone my Mum has when she can't have sun and that's something I never want, I move on to the eyeliner and close the distance between me and the basin to get a closer look in the mirror.  Flickering my hazel gaze between the evened eyeliner on both eyes and the rest of my makeup, I once again close the distance to apply the mascara and notice russet flecks in them.  Wondering how long I've had them for, I then think I don't spend a heap of time looking at myself properly, only when applying makeup but that's rarely do I take the time to have a squiz.  Throwing my chocolate brown locks into a messy yet fashionable bun, I notice the gold streaks but don't stare at them too long in favour of getting my front fringe and bangs sorted. Wiping the makeup from my septum piercing and snakebites, I also spot a large smear even on my large stretchers and wonder how the f**k is that possible.  "Ida you ready yet, you won't make it to school if you walk now!" Mum calls down the hallway and into the bathroom.  "Yeah, I just had to finish my hair!" I yell though check my phone and frown when I see I still have fifteen minutes.  So rushing out to tell them that they're tripping balls, I'm given a present from each and sung happy birthday.  Lucky I'm alone and my friends have no knowledge of what's going on right now. I don't think I could deal with that let alone this at seven forty-two in the morning.  "Thank you guys, you didn't have to I mean it's not even Saturday yet." I grin after giving the both of them a hug and kiss then setting my eyes back on the wrapped gifts in my hands.  Sitting down at the breakfast chair I sat when I was given the go ahead for the festival on my birthday, I open Dad's first and discover a ring made of silver adorned with a cute but intricate heart and my name written in Greek characters in the middle of the fancy looking heart.  "We know we thought we'd give it to you early. That and I didn't know what else to pu-"  "I love it Dad, thank you." I grin and pull him in for a hug to completely cut him off.  "Well I'm glad you do, now hurry up and open your mothers, I don't like it when all the attention is on me because it is meant to be on you." he chuckles awkwardly then earns a kiss from Mum. "Alright." I laugh but don't stop shredding the paper from Mum's gifts until finding a necklace, silver as well but of a tear drop shape with a purple amethyst in the middle surrounded by smaller diamonds. "I know you like your dark s**t like me, but if you are also like me then s**t like this is also welcomed." she winks when I'm instantly putting them on, my gaze never tearing away from them before I'm told they're also going to drive me to school as well.  So thanking them once again I'm left to get the remainder of my things together until eventually meeting them in the car.                                                                                                    *  "Alright, so you got the details?" Esther asks whilst we get ourselves prepared for art, my head nodding until I'm sending the last of the details on my end through to both mum and dad.  "Yep, I'm to be picked up from my place first thing Friday morning and we are to be staying exactly an hour and fifty minutes away from this exact town we're currently in." I state as specifically as I can not only to joke around and f**k with her this early in the morning, but also because I'm in a good mood and nothing could legit bring me down unless my parents changed their minds.  "Good, very specific but good." she laughs also after she catches on that I'm pulling a funny on her.  "Right, well Beau shouldn't be too far behind." she goes on prior to her jade green eyes landing from me then to the classroom door where Beau's supposedly meant to be coming through, then back again. "That's okay, I mean I'm okay with it but are you?" I tease and catch the girl blushing at her eagerness to see Beau.  "Shut up, says you yesterday with Lia-" "You weren't even there so that argument isn't even valid." I shoot back instantly then earning myself another eye roll and middle finger.  "Whatever you say b***h, you know I'm right because you even copied me with my hairstyle this morning." she states matter of factly with a snap of her fingers when we both look at each other's hair and find she too has her platinum wavy blonde locks tied up into a bun.  "Bullshit, that was out of pure coincidence and I have a f*****g front fringe anyway so not really." I argue back while she gives her lip piercing a push and eyebrows a raise in a way as if no matter what I say nothing is going to change it. "Oh whatever, be like that Esther. I'm going to be the bigger person and get on with my work. And would you look at that, here comes Beau now." I grin evilly when her porcelain face ain't so porcelain at the mentioning of Beau's name.  "Ladies, I see class hasn't started without me just yet." Beau jokes then takes the free seat next to me, him and Esther sharing a quick smile until Mrs Pollard takes the class into our subject for today.  "I dare say." Esther snickers as Beau only rolls his sea green eyes and runs a paper white hand through his ebony dead straight fringe, his bangs going untouched due to them being out of the way of his vision yet a beanie much like Dalton's sits on the back of his head. With the inside joke being that the both of them are the twins of the group only Beau has shorter hair though longer bangs, I can also easily tell the difference considering he has more piercings than Dalton. Admiring his enormous stretchers, as you can tell by now we practically all have them, two septum piercings, the same amount of eyebrow piercings, snakebites and his medusa, I wish I could have the balls to go further but promised Mum I wouldn't because jobs these days are getting harder to find for those who are covered.  "So you all know what to do?" Mrs Pollard questions loudly and instantly pulling me back to the now, my head nodding absentmindedly yet I'm hoping Esther or Beau have sort of an idea as to what's going on.  "You have no idea don't you?" Esther grins just before I'm about to open my mouth, a blush forming on my face but I'm grinning for some reason.  "I got lost in my train of thought." I mumble whilst opening my pencil case to get out my trusty pencil.  Explaining what my task is I thank Esther and do just that, my eyes catching glimpses of my grey, yellow and black plaid knee high winter school skirt and wonder which dildo thought it would be a good idea to add yellow to it.  Finally putting pencil to paper, I begin doodling as Beau and Esther talk about what they're going to do when we go away for three days as well as who they're going to see, my mind actually jumping to that subject too and I'm instantly blushing when Liam's face pops up.  I don't think I could handle seeing him knowing he wants to come to my birthday. I mean I could be reading too much into it and he could be there for someone else, but the options are still possible on both ends. So all I can do is go out on Friday with an open mind and hopefully come back Sunday with either an experience or boyfriend. "And what is it you plan on adding to that flower?" Mrs Pollard grins from beside Esther and I, my head whipping up to peer into the middle-aged woman's grass green eyes before blushing and shrugging my shoulders. "Not sure, thought I'd colour it in and see where I go first." I smile only she laughs and encourages me to do more with it. "I don't know, add a bloody unicorn for all I care." she chuckles while tucking her wheat hair behind her pierced ears.  "Alright well I'm going to add that in there so if this piece of art gets famous, I have you to thank." I joke around though take it into consideration considering I legit have nothing else to draw. "You've got yourself a deal Ida." she smiles then moves herself to see how Beau and Esther are doing.                                                                                                *  Sitting in our usual spot near the back of the school's oval, we share a few cigarettes around the group until conversation about my birthday eventually takes place when everyone is gathered round. Well everyone apart from Liam who might not be here again today.  Brushing it off as nothing because I didn't see him at recess either and I don't have any classes with him, my train of thought is halted when a person taps me on the shoulder and pulls my gaze from the grass to a pair of emerald eyes beaming down from high above. "Hey Liam, I didn't expect you to be here today." I greet whilst everyone sits back and witnesses this weird encounter blossom.  Why did he only single me out and say hello, did someone f*****g say something? Because if they have I don't think I could talk to them for a bit regardless if he feels the same way about me!  Yet the thought of someone telling him that I liked him is instantly causing me to be awkward around him and I automatically want to break it off.  "Well I'm here, I just had to fix a few things up at home in order for me to be able to go out for three days." he explains and takes a seat next to me after Esther and I make some room for him to sit.  With my heart in my throat right about now, I play it cool when the cigarette is passed to me then to Liam until I'm being directed and pulled into the conversation instead of sitting out and observing. Something I like yet have to put aside to not seem like a weirdo to Liam.  "What?" I reply to Dalton who only laughs and confirms his suspicions to Ankara that I certainly wasn't listening to anything anyone was saying.  "We said would it be wise to all stay at one of our houses the night before we all take off, I mean the earlier we leave on Friday morning the quicker we'll be there and are able to choose the best place to set up camp." Dalton repeats then sticks his pierced tongue out at Ankara after copping a punch in the leg for being a d**k about it and the dopey tone he used.  "Yes but as long as I'm not staying in a house with you then we're fine." I shoot back cockily and earning a round of laughter from the group including Dalton himself who only brushes it off and tells me to not be a silly fucker, I'm like a sister to him so I'm stuck with him whether I want to be or not.  "Well as endearing as that sounds Dalton, I don't think my soul could take that much. So how about we'll call it a truce for now and I won't hang s**t on you for the rest of the day." I sigh when a monstrous grin forms across his gently tanned face.  "And there we have it-" "Oh shut it Liam." I cut across him nonchalantly though as a matter of fact I almost forgot he was there until now, my eyes catching his freakishly white hand reaching for his mousy brown hair and I'm now watching as the guy awkwardly scratches his head. Why awkwardly, well because he's watching me stare at him this entire time right now as we speak.  "What?" he grins yet a blush creeps into his white cheeks, my head shaking though no words dare to come out until Beau's distracting Liam with something he found on f*******:. "Dude that's fucked." Liam giggles sadistically and instantly the hairs on my arms stand on end. It wasn't the thing he was laughing at, it was the way he did it and it sounded as if a crazy person had jumped into his skin for a split second.  Call me crazy, but from years of searching up on serial killers as well as trying to get details on my Grandparents and what they did my parents, you tend to hear a few sick laughs from time to time and that one pricked something inside me.  But is it weird that it kind of turns me on? Am I a f****d up case of what my mother and father went through, did they give birth to something that absorbed some of that trauma and turned me into a person that has a guilty pleasure in watching movies as well as documentaries on serial killers and cannibals?  It's a weird sensation yet I find that it keeps me weary of what's out there, keeps me remembering why my parents are the way they are with me and actually stops me from rebelling out on them. Hence the reason why I'm able to do the things I do because I haven't done anything stupid in their eyes, to risk giving away any information on us or our whereabouts.  Like I am allowed to have f*******: yet I can't use my real name, so I have a fake name as well as email so only my friends can talk to me. So explaining the reason to Liam was a little difficult because I lied about it when he asked to add me a while back after being added by everyone else, I told him the reason why I have a fake name is because I don't take f*******: seriously and only use it to talk to my friends if I need to and can't get a hold of them through text message. "Ida have you messaged your parents about that as well or just the location and stuff?" Esther asks when she pokes her head from around the other side of Liam to beam at me along with the others in our group.  "Not yet, I thought I would also ask them in person considering it might have the same effect, you know with the whole letting me go wi-" "Yeah alright, that sounds better anyway." Ankara brushes off casually though rests her legs on me from across in Dalton's lap to know that the love is still there.  Getting into the conversations with the others regardless of Liam and how much closer he has managed to get to me when I first remember him sitting down, I ignore his body heat beckoning my body to close the distance with his and focus on the bell ringing for the end of lunch. "Alright so I'll see you guys tomorrow then and see you four later?" I question while pointing to Esther, Mitch, Dalton and Noah considering they'll be in the next two classes with me.  "Yes you will." Esther answers for those who are too busy f*****g around before linking arms with the girl and heading off.
