An Almost Successful Escape

Conjoin us into the collective embrace Inner thoughts being suppressed, voices of torment channel through me All recollection nullified by internal enslavement Daedalvs "Ida! I have some good news to tell you!" Shaun announces as my door bursts open and his grinning smile is placed into my blurry vision. "What is it?" I grumble while my eyes adjust, his gunmetal blue ones glowing with excitement and wanting to burst due to the information readying itself to pour from his lips. "We've got the location to Tabitha and Adaline, the last two people on my list I need and hopefully this will be enough to get the parents of those who killed mine to step forward. But enough with the depressing s**t, we're heading off in the next five so get yourself ready and I'll let you make food for the others when we get back." he assures me when my eyes flicker to the door and spot Liam's frame standing a few meters behind Shaun. "I need your help." Liam grunts and scaring the s**t out of Shaun a little, earning a chuckled laugh from the back of his throat and a hand on the young guy's shoulder. "Alright Liam, show me what you need help with." he sighs then follows Liam out, Liam throwing his head over his shoulder to get a quick glimpse at me before disappearing completely, the look on his face blank yet his emerald eyes seem to have kick start the adrenaline in my heart. I didn't see him much after last night which was good, the way he kept dragging his eyes over my body made me feel uneasy and I half expected him to come into my room during the night to rape those feelings away.  Brushing it to the back of my head considering I would rather it this way than it was before between Liam and me, I focus now on getting myself dressed and ready to help with the capturing of Tabitha and Adaline in favour of keeping Liam out of my thoughts for now. He's still a cunt and at any moment he could snap, let's keep it at that... Tabitha's and Adaline's parents come to my mind, wondering exactly whose child is whose. I mean we already have Cody and Gabrielle's son Alex. Not to mention Anastasia and Dakota's son Anakin, Aiden and Victoria's daughter Hanna, and Kyle and Vanessa's son Jason. Then there's also Danielle and Hayden's son Lee who turns out was born around the same time as me if not a few months after, Clair and Parker's son Lucian, James and Marie's daughter Lydia and Karma and Kayden's son Markus. Last but not least we also have Hunter and Phoenix's daughter Nakita, Jack and Kat's daughter Raya, Alanna and Dylan's daughter Storm, Caroline and Marcel's son Timothy, Braydon and Esmeralda's son Viktor and Marissa and Jed's son Zeke. With all the names stacking up and only two left to go, I ponder on exactly when their parents will step forward and try to save them like mine are doing with me. They all can't just be searching for me unless they know they're with me or are currently going into the clutches of someone who has me, hence the reason why these people are so easy picking. Throwing on the last of what I need to deem myself ready for an early morning kidnapping, I make my way to the lounge room where Shaun and Liam seem to be waiting for me. "There we are, I thought you got lost." Shaun jokes and earns a snickered laugh from Liam on his way out the door. "Let's go." I murmur without even trying to be happy for my sake of a shitty drive, yet whatever made them both perky as f**k seems to fuel their weird mood longer, regardless of how many times I'm ignoring them or giving out blunt replies. "You'll be happy to know you are no longer needed, you've taken back your lookout job so Liam can help me now." Shaun announces after half an hour of silence and static radio. "Cool." I grumble though I want to sigh in relief that I'm no longer risking my life for something I don't want to do when clearly these two live and breathe for this s**t. "See, I told you she would be happy about it." Liam cackles sarcastically with Shaun joining in, my eyes rolling as I let them settle on the car window with folded arms tightly against my chest. What a fuckhead, is he honestly serious right now? For the past week and a half he's been nothing but a mixture of angry, horny and weirdly calm, yet the raping hasn't picked up where it was left over a week ago, so I'm beginning to think that he has something else planned now to get me to I guess, be the slave he wants me to be. Letting out a sigh with my thoughts continuing on with the past history with Liam, I want to cry in frustration at how gullible I was and how he used me just to kidnap me, get information out of me to get to my parents and all out send me insane.                                                                                                        * "We're here!" Shaun declares on our arrival outside I assume Tabitha's place, the house small yet big enough for three people. Being informed I am to still stay in the car, I witness as both males slip out of the car and into the early morning darkness with nothing but my heartbeat ringing in my ears. The street's dead, not a single light on to suggest that someone may see what's about to go down, the thoughts sending my adrenaline pumping when I watch Shaun sneak in through one of the windows on the side of the house. Sitting in silence with wide eyes for any activity, I try and also tally up the days or weeks I have been kidnapped and can't exactly come up with a figure. I lost track when the days started merging together. With the clock ticking and the both of them taking longer than five minutes, a light in the house turns on followed by a loud crashing sound and screaming voices, the front door bursting open seconds later to a girl around my age flying out of the house crying for help. Not knowing what to do when the girl spots me in the car and starts charging for my help, Liam comes out of nowhere and takes the girl down with a chloroform soaked cloth, Shaun appearing just seconds after Liam's arrival to show me his blood soaked face and cuddling his ribcage in pain. "Kylie and Nathan are there! Ida help me get her in the car!" Liam hollers while Shaun's writhing in pain in the backseat. Jumping into the front seat when Tabitha's in the car and the engine's now kick starting up, two more figures who I assume's Kylie and Nathan come sprinting towards our car and witness as their daughter's taken away, their eyes locking onto mine through my side mirror and instantly they're running inside. Hoping they're contacting my parents on my whereabouts, Shaun's groaning and whimpering gains my attention when his nose turns out to be broken along with a couple of ribs. Peering at Liam in the driver's seat next to me, I make sure my body is pushed all the way into my car door to avoid any skin contact with Liam, the guy solely focused on losing anyone that could follow us as well as getting us to our new location. "Liam did you want to tell your men to go and gather the others, I don't doubt that after tonight the Police will be hot on our trail and Ida's parent's along with Stella won't be far behind either. Lucky I have a place not far from our new home; otherwise we'd be on the road longer and risk everything we've worked for." Shaun pants through gritted teeth, my eyes are now flickering to Liam's face to see exactly what emotion he's wearing.  "Already ten steps ahead of you." Liam grumbles then pockets his phone and tells Shaun exactly where Liam sent his men, Shaun visibly relaxing with Tabitha sprawled out along the backseat until Max's name is brought up and the task of informing him in what's going on, is now surfacing into the conversation. "Everyone be quiet, I'm about to call Max." Shaun orders when the phone is passed to him in the backseat and we all wait with baited breath for the phone to be picked up. After a few more rings the man finally answers though I can't exactly hear what he has to say, but whatever the man's saying to Shaun after spilling the beans on Tabitha and her parents, Shaun seems to relax once again as a smile comes into play. "Thank you Nate, tell your father I appreciate that and cannot wait to see him at the trade." and with that Shaun ends the call, Shaun not caring about being in pain for a few minutes when he excitedly relays what Max's son Nate said, my heart stopping at the mentioning of the trade happening sooner than planned and instantly I'm fighting back tears when my thoughts jump to the others currently at the house we're now trying to quickly evacuate. "Hello?" Liam grumbles to someone on the phone with Shaun too busy trying to talk to me about what their plans are when they get to their new hideout. "WHAT?" he screams and instantly Shaun and I are looking at him. "Okay thank you." he grunts before hanging up and stepping on the gas. "What's wrong?" Shaun demands once he knows it's safe to speak, that surprising me considering Shaun looks almost twice Liam's age and yet he has to suck up Liam's ass if he wants help. How the tables have turned I guess. "My men just rocked up at the house and apparently the others aren't there!" Liam growls in frustration and instantly Shaun's losing his s**t telling Liam to hurry the f**k up. Speeding down the road and wondering if this is where I will die, I'm relieved to see the holiday house we're currently staying in appear in the review mirror and with the engine left running, Shaun and Liam leap out of the car to see what the f**k is going on and where the f**k they'd be. It's good to know they got out while they could; it just sucks that my blood will be the only one to be spilt now for Max and his friend's revenge. It's not that I wish it on the others; it just would have been nice to die with someone and not on my own. I eventually get out of the car and find that the house is completely trashed, Liam and Shaun messing it up more when they continue to flip furniture around, as if their actions will make the missing fifteen hostages reappear. "MAX IS GOING TO f*****g KILL ME!" Shaun roars as more items are flung around the room, Liam screaming at someone somewhere in the trashed house and I'm wishing I was anywhere but here right now. Well any chance of Liam not hating my guts is out of the window, I saw it in his face as soon as we rocked up, he blames me for some of this he just doesn't know exactly what part yet. Yet they don't find anyone and eventually calm down when I go into the kitchen and snatch a piece of paper on the ground, my slightly trembling hands turning it over and finding some fancy print scrawled out on it.  Dear Shaun and Liam,  I'm sorry to have left you such a surprise, but Nate told us to come and grab what was promised to us and thanks to you, we can now rest easy knowing we have the children of those who took our parents away from us. As for the mess I will send some money through so keep an eye out for that as well. Don't bother ringing us to confirm anything it's all in the process and will hopefully see you later in the future. Kind regards David, Lucinda, Colin, Lizz, Brett, Jackie, Harry and Pamela. "Guys, you might want to come and take a look at this!" I call over Liam and Shaun's rampage, the both stomping their way into the kitchen before Shaun's snatching the piece of paper from my hands. Watching as he skims his eyes over the paper, he doesn't say much else once he give it over to Liam and takes a painful seat on the turned up couch. "Oh thank f**k, I thought they got away for a second! But a phone call would have been f*****g nice though!" Liam shouts in relief but it's short lived when they're reminded we have to get going in case we were followed, Tabitha still in the car as Liam, Shaun and I jump in and hightail it away from the trashed holiday house.  Hoping the note isn't true and they actually got out, I highly doubt it though because the place looked like it had been trashed due to the struggle they all put up in trying to get away. Letting silent tears fall for those who will be dying tonight, I peer out the window and count down the days until I share the same fate.
