Chapter 26: Coming Home

I talked to my publisher and told her that thank you for the opportunity, but no book was worth me putting my happiness on hold. As much as I love writing and getting my work out there. I needed my Lance.  She told me that she was going to miss me. And said that maybe we could make things work. Even from distance. She still wanted to be my publisher. I was on board.  The month flew by so fast. I was now on the plane. I was so excited I couldn't wait to be home. Marla and Hazel cried when I left. Daniel hugged me like there was no tomorrow. But they promised they would visit soon.  After a few hours, we finally landed in LA. it's been a while. How much I've missed it.  "Welcome home, baby girl." I saw dad.   I ran towards him and hugged him.  "Dad, I've missed you so much." I cried.
