Two months went by since that day. Two months since I've moved here. Living here with them feels amazing. I'm home.
Sarah landed the part of hosting Celeb News. The girl was born for that. Well at least now I can watch it without having to throw things at the TV.
"Bailey, Can I ask you something?" Sophia said while sitting next to me on the couch.
"Of course." I smiled.
"C- can-" she sighed. I wiped her tears. Whatever it is. Made her really nervous.
"Can I call you mommy?" That took me by surprise.
I Put her on my laps and gave her a hug. "What if things don't work out in the end with your dad?"
"I don't care. I just want a mommy. And you're like a mommy. You take care of me." She buried her little face in the crook of my neck.
