Martin's POV “The CCTV around the pool area was off. It didn’t have anything that could help,” Marcus said, his words hit me like a cold wave. I stared at him, my heart stirred into confusion. “How are we going to prove who is right or wrong now?” I asked, the frustration laced in my voice. The CCTV footage was the only thing that could make me judge without being biased, but now it is of no use. “I'm confused,” Marcus sighed. “What about the cameras inside the house?” I pressed, trying to hold onto some hope. “None of them were working,” he said, shaking his head. I blinked, disbelief washing over me. “What do you mean none of them were working?” “I’m surprised too,” Marcus replied. “I think someone tampered with the cameras. It is strange that on that day, none of them were on.
