Chapter 2: Moonlit Awakening

The full moon rose high in the sky, casting a silver glow over the garden. Emily felt a strange thrill inside her, like her body was waking up from a long sleep. Grandma Rose took her hand and led her to a special place in the garden, where the moonlight made the trees look spooky and magical.

"Let the moon help you, Emily," Grandma Rose whispered, her voice barely audible over the distant hum of crickets. "Be who you really are. Let your true self shine."

Emily's body started to change, her muscles stretching and her bones moving. Her heart beat fast, like a drum in her chest. She heard the crickets chirping and the wind rustling through the leaves, making a soft, soothing sound.

As she transformed, Emily's senses got stronger. She smelled the dirt and the flowers, the sweet scent of blooming lavender and the earthy smell of damp soil. She tasted the night air, sweet and wild, like a mix of honey and freedom.

Emily ran as a wolf, feeling the wind blow through her fur and the moonlight dance across her back. She felt free and happy, like she could run forever. She saw a stranger watching her, a tall, dark-haired man with piercing eyes that seemed to see right through her. Emily felt a connection to him, like they shared a secret.

When she changed back to a human, Grandma Rose hugged her tight. "Welcome to our world, Emily. You're one of us now. You're a wolf, a creature of the night."

Emily looked up at the moon, feeling a pull, like someone was waiting for her. She felt a sense of belonging, like she'd finally found her place in the world.

"Grandma, what's happening to me?" Emily asked, feeling a mix of excitement and fear.

Grandma Rose smiled, her eyes twinkling with secrets. "You're becoming who you were meant to be, dear. You're becoming a wolf."
