Elena POV:
I was cleaning the floor when my Stepmom came into the kitchen. "Didn't I tell you to have your stepsisters dresses sewn up by tonight" she said.
"Yes I promise I will have it done by tomorrow" I said.
"But I told you to have it done to night Elena. The Prince is coming tomorrow and I need it to be done".
"Okay I just been so busy with the chores that you have been giving me" I said.
I felt a slap go across my cheek. "I don't care what I given you; but those dresses better be done by tomorrow".
She finally left out the kitchen going back to her room.
I let out a sigh as a tear fell down my cheek. I couldn't wait until I escaped from this terrible castle.
I went back to my room to finish sewn up these two dresses for my snobby step sisters.
I miss my Dad so much I can remember when he use to read those fairy tale books to me. Where the Prince would meet his Princess but I always wondered if I would find my Prince Charming.
Supposedly my Mom died giving birth to her second child. Sadly the child died at birth along with my Mom.
My Dad was very sad because my Mom was the love of his life. He then married my evil Stepmom.
I honestly don't know what happened to my Dad. But she told me that he died and we didn't even have a funeral for him.
I sewn until 6:00 am and I was very tired.
I heard my sisters bust through the door, "where are our dress" they both said in sink.
"There right here I said".
They immediately took them and left out of the room.
I went down stairs when I heard that the Prince was here. "Ahem and what do you think your doing?" She asked.
"Well I'm coming down stairs to see the Prince arrive".
"No your not, you are to stay in your room while he is here. Beside I can't have trash walking around my house" she said.
I looked down at my torn ragged dress that they made me wear.
I saw my stepsisters came through with the dresses I had sewn. "He will definitely love us in these dresses" Patrica said.
"The Prince shall be here very soon" the Butler said.
"Ah yes off to your room Elena" she said.
"Why do I have to go to my room every time" I said.
"Is that a sign of disobedience Elena". She immediately called the guards to force me back to my room.
"No I'm not going" I screamed as the two guards grabbed my arm and thrown me into my room.
I ran to the door but they locked the door before I could open it.
"Let me out" I screamed banging on the door.
I sat on my bed staring at the door with hatred. I heard the cars pulling up into the driveway.
I looked out the window to see the Prince stepping out of the car with my Stepmother and sisters greeting him.
I felt a weird pull towards him like were connected in some way.
I sat back on my bed feeling this heating sensation run through my body.
I didn't really know what it was but it felt powerful.
Prince Elton: I starting to loose hope that I would never find my true mate.
"Son when are we gonna stop looking for this electricity Queen. It's obvious that she doesn't exist so get that fairy tale out of your head".
"Dad she has to be in this town I can't loose hope".
"This is the last town son and if she is not here then you are out of luck".
We reached the last house which I was nervous about. What if I wouldn't be able to find her and then I have to marry a really boring regular Queen.
"Hello and welcome to our home Prince Elton". The old lady bowed down to me in which I looked up at her face which she looked like a clown.
And not to mention her daughters were hideous to.
"Come on inside and we shall begin" she said.
I walked in to their house, her daughters were so annoying grabbing and leaning on me.
"Okay show him your powers Patricia" her mom said.
She bowed before me , I could see that she had the power of fire. Which didn't impress me because most people had the power of fire.
"Let me guess you have the power of water to" I asked the other step sister.
"Yes " she said.
Well I guess I wasted my time here I thought. I felt this electrical energy burst through the room.
Me and the rest of everyone fell in the process.
Elena POV:
The electric shock came throw my body. It felt so power that it blew down the door and rapped around the house.
I immediately ran down stairs to see the wreckage I had made. I didn't even know that I had powers.
As I got closer the pull felt stronger. I saw the Prince stand up before me. He had brown hair and light green eyes.
"Did that electric strike come from you?" he asked.
I nodded looking over to my stepmother whose face had horror written over it. "I want to marry her" I heard the Prince say.
"Umm no you don't wanna marry her she is just a servant. And you don't know if that even came from her" she said.
"Nope I don't care" I heard him say.
My Stepmother couldn't protest "Elena go pack your bags" she said.
I stood there shocked "I said go pack your bags Elena" .
I quickly left to my room was I really ready to get married to a Prince?.
I didn't even sign up for this oh god what am I going to do.
I grabbed my bag and stuffed clothes into it with the picture of my Mom, Dad and I. I was not gonna get bossed around by some Prince so I climbed out of my bedroom window.
And ran as fast as I could not looking back. "She's running away" I heard from the Prince.
I ran into the woods cutting myself in the process. I hid behind a tall prickly bush hoping that the prince wouldn't find me.
"Elena really that is not a good hiding place " I heard someone laughing.
I looked up to see the Prince staring down at me. " Listen Prince I cannot be your wife".
"Firstly my name is Elton and we don't have to marry right now. We can take our relationship really slow".
Clearly he didn't hear what I said or he is either dumb. "Did you not hear what I said I can't be with you". Even tho he is very handsome that is besides the point.
"Yes you can besides I have been looking for someone like you for forever so come on" he said. He grabbed my arm and dragged me with him.
He literally pulled me into the car with him. I knew that my life was about to change.
