Chapter 9Cove
The rock and shudder of their ship had become more familiar to Cove. Though he still needed to hold Ciaran’s hand to get through it. Cove’s heart quickened as they flew through the air, approaching the ground. He’d be back on the surface soon. It was one step closer to going home.
“Will you miss Esen?” Cove asked Mika, whose fingers pressed against her phone.
Mika’s brown eyes glared at him. She shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant.
