Chapter 6Ciaran The prince had never been asked to leave a room before. There was a building sense of guilt and shame creeping through him. He had tried to talk to Cove the night before. Cove refused to open his door. Now, he had a guard and was distancing himself. A creeping paranoia that had always been inside him grew more pronounced. He knew his necklace tracked and heard everything. His mother was never afraid to use her technology to spy. What if she knew his thoughts and desires? What if she never stopped listening to them? “Your body is indicating high levels of stress,” his phone rang with a notification. His necklace buzzed to alert him.
