It was two days Jordan had found out he was going to be a dad, he asked Ivy out to dinner, said he had something important to discuss with her. Ivy dressed up that night for her dinner date with Jordan and got into the car he had waiting for her to take her to their dinner. She wondered what the need was for a car, she could have just driven her car, but he had refused to even tell her the venue.
What could have been so important? She wondered to herself on her way to meet him. But then the driver kept going and going not stopping anywhere.
“Excuse me, do you have any idea where you are taking me?” she asked the driver.
“Yes Ma’am, we’ll be there in another twenty minutes or less” he assured her and she sighed and checked the time on her phone
