Chapter Eighteen

Pain

blood curdling pain is all i feel as i lay broken at the bottom of the cliff. I feel the waves brush against my skin and my blood trickles out ofmy broken back and all i can think is, this is it , this is how ill die and what makes it worse is I saw who did this to me. his pack mates.

he might not have been the one to physically push me off the edge but he must have told them to. as if kissing someone else wasnt enough , he had to kill me too.

I start to feel my heart beat slow down and everything starts to looks darker and fuzzy and i know any minute now my heart will stop and then ill no longer exist. Soon my body starts to feel numb and everything goes quiet as I feel my self slip into the peaceful Abbys.

I awake to sound of waves crashing onto the rocks, feeling the sun on my faces and the water caressing me, I open my eyes and look up to the clear light blue sky and slowly turn my head to look at the rocks beside me and not ice everything looked so bright and clear, memories of last night flash through my mind W as it all a dream? No it couldn’t be it all felt so real and how else would I of ended up here, I slowly start to sit up and notice I don’t feel any pain, not even the heart ache and vet the mate bond, I feel free like there’s nothing weighting me down anymore.

I start to climb up the cliff edge and notice how effortlessly easy it was and how I didn’t feel even a little bit tired even though it was at least five stories high. I run back to the house and look for one of the others, they will know what’s happened to me, even though I think I know and I should probably be more scared or sadder then I am.

I died

The human side of me died.

I’m a vampire.

At the realisation of this I’m left feeling uncontrollable rage at Greyson, he did this, he killed my humanity, he not only broke my heart but he made it stop beating and for that he will pay. For that I’ll end his beating heart. Not by killing him, hell no that will be too peaceful for him. His torture will be long and unending, he will live to see me take over or kill his pack for this....
