Brielle P.O.V "you okay?" hunter asks as Yeah I’m fine I say as I keep my eyes trained ahead of me as I walk around the corner of the college building. Hunter lightly grabs my hand and pulls me to a stop, butterflies flutter in my stomach at the contact. Hey, you can tell me, you don’t have to act okay, I know seeing them freaked you out and that normal after what they did. Don’t shut me out. You don’t have to pretend with me. Your safe with me. He says softly and I look down at the floor away from his soul searching eyes. He lightly grasps my chin in his hand and makes me look up at him. “I’ll never let anything bad happen to you, I’m here now. Your safe” he whispers the last bit as he stares caringly into my eyes and just like that the tears start to lightly fall down my cheeks. He
