Elle's POV
“Thanks for everything that you've done and bought for me today,” I said to Kento after stepping out of his car while carrying the things he had bought for me.
Kento had actually intended to get out of the vehicle to escort me all the way to our hotel room, but I turned him down. I had already taken up too much of his time. Instead, I simply peered at him through the open window of his car.
“It is my utmost pleasure, Elle,” Kento replied with a smile, which made me smile in return.
“Then, I’ll go inside,” I said, bidding my new friend goodbye.
Kento responded with a nod and a smile on his lips, prompting me to finally turn around and head inside the hotel. But before I could even take a step toward the entrance, Kento called out to me, causing me to look back at him again.
